-It gets a lot of fingerprint streaks since its a touch screen but you can just do what i did and get an anti-scratch screen protector for like $8.
-The battery life is kind of short. I get about 3 hours of watching shows, coding and general surfing. I don't game on it though.

Overall
I love it. As a software developer, I spend a lot of time on my laptop and I can definitely say this laptop is worth the money you pay for it. I recommend it.

It is a nice laptop for its price. I really wanted the Asus Zenbook, but it is so much more expensive. I like the design of the Vivobook, it looks like a Mac, but of course because it's Asus, it's better! Touch screen works well and screen doesn't smudge that much (just remember to clean it once in a while with the wipe). I've recently noticed the fan sound, but it's not unbearable. Whenever I have my headphones in I can't hear it at all. The speakers are great. The screen is very glass-like and will reflect, but I think that's the case with any laptop that doesn't have a matte screen. Any questions, just comment below and I'll try to answer them when I can.

This laptop was absolutely perfect for my needs. It has enough power/memory for me to complete computational intensive programs with no fuss. It does take some getting used to when typing as the narrow width seems sharper on the forearms. The screen resolution is amazing. People looking at it remark on how clear it is.

It has a great weight and the metal casing makes it seem more durable. However, it is prone to finger smudges.

I searched for quite a while for a new laptop searching between tablets and laptops. I previously owned an ASUS that worked fine for several years. ASUS upgraded the sound card and the battery life in this model over my previous laptop. Very nice looking light weight computer. I seen in previous reviews something about key board issues not sure what that is all about this one is fine I have owned it for a couple months now and it is working great.

You have to be extremely careful when buying this product, the one that is advertised and u think u are buying is not necessarily the one that u would get.....u have to read the FINE PRINTS to make sure ......ITS FRAUDULOUS!!!!!!! I wanted one with a CD drive, the one that I saw had everything including the CD drive but when i got my pc there was no CD drive. When I revisited amazon website where it is sold I saw in the very FIIIIIINE PRINTS that this model doesnt have a CD drive. So they are fooling customers, showing u a ":model laptop" with everything for an awesome price, so u think u are getting a "great deal" when in fact its not that way. Should I BE FOOLED BECAUSE I WANT A "GREAT DEAL" in this hard economic times. SHAMEFUL!!!!!

To make matters worst when i got the pc, the battery stopped working ABOUT ONE WEEK AFTER.....it just stopped hold charge, i figured been new it may take awhile but after about 4 days I realized the problem was NOT resolving. I contacted the seller through Amazon( approximately 11 dys after delivery), the buyer took about 10 days to respond and when he did his advice leaned towards me loosing my warranty LUCKILY I READ MY WARRANTY CARD BOOKLET so i didn't "tamper" with the computer as he wanted me to do. So when i responded with my concerns and told him that i wanted to return the product I WAS TOLD THAT THE LAPTOP WAS NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN B/C 30 DYS HAVE PASSED SINCE DELIVERY and me initializing the "return" before the 30 dys DOESNT HELP THE SITUATION. So that's why the seller waited soooooo long to repsond the first time....hoping that my 30 days would run out.

I cannot believe that this has happened and I will continue to write BAAAAAAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND THE SELLER. AMAZON NEEDS TO SCRUTINIZE THESE SELLERS. I did business with amazon for many years because OF quality service.......SO WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!! This product DOES NOT DESERVE A STAR RATING.

I was very excited to get this laptop. High expectations. then I started setting it up and fount it to be glitchy. The screen would change to another screen while typing in form fields. It seemed slower than I expected as well (its an i7). Then when I was starting to type things that were more than one word in length I found that the space bar only worked about half of the time. I don't know how anyone could work with this kind of issue. After discovering this problem I found, online, that others have experienced the same problem with their ASUS laptops. I'm glad I purchased it from a reputable company that I could return it to.

I just got the product and im using it for the first time while I right this review. Overall,the computer is really good, beautiful design, fantastic touchscreen and I like windows 8 with touch. However, the computer that I received came with some problems that Im gonna be listing here:

1) The touchpad does not work completely. When I try to use the 3 fingers feature to go to my desktop or to go to the next page (just like I saw in the app "Asus Tutor", it does not work;

2) In the left side of my computer, where the VGA port is, the plastic is a little bit loose, they didnt attached it very well, so im gonna try to return it and get a new ne, because i really like this computer.

I'm still getting used to Windows 8, and the mousepad is very sensitive, so I frequently unintentionally move the mouse somewhere on the screen that I didn't intend to, but that's all part of getting used to a new computer. It doesn't have a place for a CD, but it does have a card slot on the side, which makes it easy to upload pictures from my camera.
