    MDISC, M-disc, BD blu-ray duplication

    How Does M-Disc Compare?

Standard Blu-rays and other data storage devices can suffer a decrease in quality over time, whereas M-Disc promises superior quality for years to come. Unlike ordinary discs that use organic dyes to keep data, M-DISC utilizes stable and heat-resistant chemical materials where information cannot be overwritten, erased, or corrupted by natural deterioration.

    The Advantage of M-DISC

    MDISC, M-disc, BD blu-ray duplication

The M-DISC duplicator is designed to copy onto M-DISC blank media, providing a groundbreaking optical disc technology that allows you to write data once and read "forever." Regular CD and DVD and Blu-ray lasers cannot successfully etch information to the patented inorganic and synthetic materials used with an M-DISC. However, Produplicator M-Disc compatible duplicators can carve extremely sharp and clear grooves of data onto the rock-like surface of M-DISC media for data security and disc longevity.

I was impressed with how solid this unit was when it arrived. Based on the price and the images I was kind of expecting the machine to be somewhat flimsy. Instead it is in a solid case, and has some heft to it without being overly heavy. Stays where I put it on the work table, but easy to pick up and move around too.

The buttons are good quality and feel durable. The drives are proper internal LG M-Disc/Blu-Ray as advertised. Controller is easy to use and works consistently. I have burned several 1 to 3 runs, and some smaller batches without any errors yet. No complaints, recommended.

This is a well built union. Although used this brand before I found it to be robust and simple to use. I've only burned about three dozen copies on it so far but continue to put it through it's paces as business dictates which is to say that make at least 6 copies a month on average with occasional orders for 30+ at one time.

So far no glitch, no hitch, not even a jam when using printed discs.

This pro duplicator came ready to use right out of the box. I wish I had bought this three or four years ago as it would have saved me 30 to 40 hours worth of work three or four times a year. highly recommend! I purchased the 1:5 model.

Duplicator works really well. Copied some CD and it is fast. Only thing I don’t like is the fact that it doesn’t copy artist name and song titles to the copy cd.

I've had a DVD duplicator in the past. So I know that these devices can record on the fly, from reading disc straight to recording disc instantly. That's the way you want it. Its faster and U don't take a chance mixing up recordings from different jobs picking recordings off the hard drive. especially when your discs initially are blank when recorded on. This machine I, hit copy, put the master disc and recordable discs in the drive trays, wallah, and exact Blu-ray copies menus and everything. That was in the first task when I received it out of the packaging. If you need basic Blu-ray copies, this is your machine. Don't spend high dollars on those expensive duplicators just for basic copies. Came with detail instruction booklet. and power cord. Looks like someone got a bad apple in the reviews. Amazon Prime will guaranty your purchase.

Some people have had problems with these. I'd say that if you just check the blanks for defects and blow any stray dust off them before putting them in the trays, your going to get a bit for bit copy with title page, thumbnails intact. So make your master as perfect as you can.
Just one little quibble. My first burn showed the word Fail - 0 in the display. This means it passed. If it had actually failed, there would have been a number indicating the tray that it failed in. If it passed, you would think the display would say passed.
Other than that, you just put your master in the top tray, blanks in the bottom trays and press enter. It does the rest. Keep in mind it has a wealth of self checking features so don't lose your instruction booklet! It explains everything.

There are a couple of these 1:7 Blu-ray duplicators in this price range and after carefully researching them I went with
this one, mostly because it had good reviews. Didn't really want to spend the money seeing how disc's in video production
are pretty much on their way out but I do probably have a couple years left and needed a duplicator I could put to work.
Arrived when promised, packaged well and looked like pretty good quality right off the bat. Drives are all branded not no names
and the controller was a version of the normal one out there. Set it up, set the voltage for 115V, and booted it up. Burned one set of BD-r's,
worked flawlessly. Started on the second, half way through the machine just shut off. No power down, no error messages, just dead.
Literally in 15minutes from unpacking. I'm upset. Called tech support, it was 10 minutes before their closing time so ya not surprised on holding for
10 minutes then getting voicemail. Sending back to exchange for another through Amazon. Hope it is a quick process. I shipped 2 day shipping to have it in time to get some productions done. Now I'm going to be 2 days behind getting this paperweight sent back and exchanged. Nothing worse than shelling out $800 and it biting the dust in 10 minutes.
We'll see how the replacement goes, I hope it goes much better, I had high hopes for this product.

Awesome Duplicator. Spits out five DVD's every few minutes. The controls are simple to use yet it still has plenty of functionality. The Blu-ray capability means it'll be a useful part of my business for years to come. The only bad thing I can say is that it doesn't allow me to set the number of copies I want to do. As a result it treats each batch of five as a new copy cycle instead of storing the image file until all the discs are done. Not a deal breaker but definitely something they could improve.
