The Trasparenze Linda 40 Denier pantyhose/tights use ñEvolutionî Microfiber giving them the most incredible velvet smooth texture and light feel. Compare these to domestic brand tights and you will never go back. So soft and feel so light yet never sag and stay in place all day long. The Linda is a matte finish and due to the use of Microfiber, these carry a more Opaque appearance than classic Lycra tights. Sheer body, cotton gusset, flat seam, semi-boarded, reinforced toe. Size 1 = Small, Size 2 = Medium, Size 3= Large, Size 4 = XL, Size 5/Maxi = 2XL.

Size 5/Maxi fits 6'2" 250# snugly but well enough for regular wear, so I would consider myself on the very top edge of the sizing, especially for length. The material has wonderful stretch and is very soft and smooth, like microfiber with good nylon content for glide; fairly opaque so the description "pantyhose" is a little misleading, these are definitely semi-opaque tights with nice even coverage. Color "Corda" is a pleasing off-white. Toes are reinforced and "roomy" which I happen to like; size 5/XL doesn't have a gusset but instead has a "back panel", I do prefer a regular gusset but these are comfortable and the seams are flat. Waistband is flat, doesn't dig, isn't too constricting and doesn't roll too much either. There is a very faint "T-bar" reinforcement around the front/center seam but it's almost imperceptible unless very stretched. All in all, these are probably some of the most comfortable "back panel" XL tights I've worn, and I will buy more. Color range is a very nice!

Everything about them. Comfortable, stay up, dont rip, look good (a bit sheer so they don’t look like solid black tights, but dark enough to be totally forgiving of leg imperfections)

I ordered a bunch of different ones to try - these were the best semi-sheet black and all I order now!

(I saved the packaging in my drawer and wrote ‘Best ever’ on it so I can’t possibly forget what to order. They are that good.)

I've been looking for ivory semi-opaque pantyhose. I really like Berkshire's Shimmers Opaque Control Top Tights, which are a 45 denier and are therefore more durable than pantyhose, yet they don't look totally opaque like tights. Unfortunately, they no longer come in ivory. I had high hopes for these, which are 40 denier. When I got them, I was pleased with the color, which is a little darker than I want, but not so dark as to be a nude or beige color. I would prefer control top, but that seems to be rare these days. The fit was good. I ordered a size 2 for my 5'1" 125 lbs, but my thighs are heavy and my hips are 41". They are very comfortable, and not difficult to pull up. They have a matte finish; I would prefer more of a shimmer, but that's not a dealbreaker. But on my legs, the Corda color looks very opaque like regular tights, not semi-opaque pantyhose like the picture. I will certainly be able to wear them under pants, and I did need some ivory tights, but these don't look polished enough for wear under dresses. The quest continues.

Love these tights! For years I was a drug store tight gal till I finally smartened up after many runs and tears after on one wear (even the Hue's) and bought these suckers. I size up for comfort (they still hold you in a bit) and I must say for the price these guys are fantastic! Super soft, super comfy and last many wears and washings! Who knew? I am now converted and throughly enjoy a pair of tights lasting thought the winter, who would have though?!

These black tights aren't quite as sheer as pictured, but a huge difference from winter (80den) tights. They are pretty darn tough and very soft with legs that are actually long enough! Only draw back is there isn't any difference in strength or tightness around the tummy area so if you too are shaped like a two-legged-beachball you'll have to break away once in a while to pull everything back up.
