    With the adapter, we now can use our old Mamiya 645 lenses on our GH2 instead of letting them gathering dust. Images taken with the Mamiya lenses are not as sharp as with the Lumix lenses but they have a 'creamy' texture probably will work quite well for portraits.

    This is a solidly built adapter with no slippage at either end; both camera and lens lock positively in place. It needs to be well built as the weight of many of the Mamiya 645 lenses would put a strain on any adapter. Vital to its use is the in-built tripod adapter which helps to ensure that the camera mount does not take the strain; even on my Olympus E-MD OM1, a ruggedly constructed camera, I would not like to risk the superb 145mm Soft Focus or the classic 75-150 zoom hanging unsupported from the front. Being able to use the Soft Focus lens and the superb swing, shift & tilt Mamiya Auto Bellows N with the Olympus genuinely extends the creative opportunities that can be enjoyed with any micro Four Thirds kit. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
