Overall feel, it's solid built and fits perfectly. Much better than the original bracket. Highly recommend this for anyone who races their cars through the mountain roads. every time I drive into the mountains or any sort of elevation, the detector used to fall off. it would also fall off on barometric pressure changes and temperature changes since the suction cups it came with are so weak. this is a very solid mount, I even have a dashcam attached with Velcro to the bottom of the radar detector and it still has not fallen off once, even after driving up to very high elevations

I pulled this unit out of the box and was really impressed. solid build, this thing looked great. I installed it, it fit my iradar perfect, and i was off. thrilled with its sturdiness. Then 2 weeks later, the suction cup failed. so disappointed. I bought this as a replacement for the cobra included '3 mini suction cup' holder that simply died after about a year. To be fair, we have had some big temperature swings lately and i know that can affect hold on the windshield, but my other device holder for my iphone with similar suction cup has managed to stay up during this time. I will put it back up and give it another chance. hopefully this is a temporary issue. If i put it back up and it stays, i'll come back and add more stars! really want to love this product.
