Buy if you want molten coffee lava spewing across your facility

It overflows at the filter basket and spews hot water/ground lava over everything within 5 feet. We have used only BUNN filters, have tried 1/3 of the coffee that is recommended in the BUNN instructions, have tried every pulse setting, have used a mesh filter basket just for giggles, and no matter what it does this. Too much water dumps into the filter basket and it overflows it, every single time -- Total junk

After several consults with technical support to program the water pulse, flow settings, the grind of the coffee, the coffee maker continued to overflow and spew water and grounds. This was the same problem we had with an older version of the same machine. Not many options for the convenience of a plumbed machine that isn't a huge commercial coffee maker, so this was very disappointing.

First of all I don't write these. I am an avid consumer of high end products. I research buys - try them out in stores then order. But this product I love.

I did a lot of searching. I wanted an in-line water with filter. Mechanically simple to operate - no digital for my wife to get frustrated. Use a coffee insulated pot with no heated burner, so that the coffee won't burn up in the pot. Some ability to modify brewing for better taste. Use a larger Airpot Commercial grade for parties. Low profile and under $500 and there it was Bunn Wave- 15 S APS Low profile.

Been using it daily for 3 months now. I put the grounds in the slide in drip cone - push one mechanical button and walk away. In 4 minutes (programed longer wave drip for richer taste)a perfect rich not bitter multilayered tasting coffee.

Everyone who sees it wants it. It's Bunn and will last forever.

I just can't say enough about how poor the design and location is of the hot water ...

Coffee brewing wise, this performs well. HOWEVER, the placement of the hot water spigot is atrocious. The spigot is just awkward placed over all... I mean, it's behind the pot area, where certain cups and containers don't even fit under there. It's a problem everyday where we work. But more concerning, the machine drips water from the coffee brew area when you activate the hot water spout, when you turn on the spigot for the hot water, someone burns themselves daily as a result of reacting to the dripping and jerking, spilling the hot water. The dripping residue from the coffee brew area, dripping on your arm because you have to hold you cup under it since the spigot is on the back, makes you think you are being dripped on with HOT water. This causes people to flinch, and then spill their hot water they're trying to get and then they DO get burned. Also, the spigot handle is designed to stay "on" if you push it up hard enough, however, if you're not careful, it gets stuck on the lip of the underside of the machine and you can't turn it off. Meaning scalding hot water is overrunning in a cup your HOLDING, again, burning you. I just can't say enough about how poor the design and location is of the hot water spout is...truly an accident waiting to happen. I can't believe there aren't more complaints and I can't believe it made it to market with where it's placed. Ridiculous. It will seem like its not a problem, until you buy it and see how stupid it is to have the spout of the BACK of the machine. The last machine we had the spout was on the very front. Easily accessible where I don't have to reach under the machine's other components to get some darn hot water.
