Feels like the twilight zone reading other reviews on here. I came back specifically because it occurred to me today I'd been using this blender maybe 4-5 times a week for years (since 2014), and it is still chugging along perfectly blending smoothies. That deserves 5 stars from me. Seriously, ice, fruit, kale, spinach... sounds awful but it not only gets juiced just fine but nearly up to the tippy top of the container each time. Guess I just lucked out. I do also add ingredients as it is blending instead of all at once in the beginning, and I do add water. I wasn't thrilled going from glass to plastic but it hasn't made much difference to me. Dunno... maybe the build of these things has changed over the years. But for mine, 5 stars!

I was looking for a blender to make smoothies and was having a hard time finding something powerful enough to really blend well; sometimes it won't really crush ice, so you get those little ice chunks. I was also being budget conscious. There are plenty of good blenders over $100 that will help you make a really smooth mix, but I'm not blender rich, so I was looking for something a little less expensive. This blender makes a smoothie with the texture of one that you get from Jamba Juice or Tropical Smoothie Cafe...I am very impressed. I actually bought two...one for home, one for my office.Great buy!
