I really love my Seiko 5 automatic gold dial, gold-tone stainless steel watch. This was my first time buying a watch on line, and it was an excellent experience.
The watch keeps perfect time (as long as you are wearing it daily). Due to its
automatic feature, the motion of your hand/arm keeps it moving, but even if you let one day go by, it will still work, but after 2 days naturally it will stop. It has a very generously sized watchband, and I had to take it to a jeweler to remove several links which cost $10, but it was worth the trouble & expense. It is a superb time piece for the money and I enjoy wearing it.

I loved the style and design so much I recently purchased another. I am sure the watch would last a lot longer if I were more careful with my things. I sweat alot, I live in a hot country and I even forget to take off the watch when washing dishes! It survived all my abuse. Excellent product!

I love mechanical watches. This watch is beautiful and (so far) works well. I love it, but there are a few things I should mention. Gold on gold is hard to read in dim light. The watch came with the "certificate of guarantee" missing from the little pocket at the back of the instruction manual. Also, I couldn't resize the bracelet myself. Yes, I know how and yes, I have the tools. The L- pins wouldn't budge. Took it to a jeweler who got them to budge, but hacked it up a little in the process. (I could have done that!) She said she thought it might be fake (not really Seiko). That might have been sour grapes for my not buying a watch from her. So now you know all the issues. I still love the watch.

Have just purchased this watch and I am really happy with it. It is smaller than expected but if you have small wrists, it is the right size as it's not too chunky. I like the fact that the day counter is blue for Sat and red for Sun which makes a nice change. Have never had an automatic watch before but I like the fact that I will never need batteries for it. The bracelet is quite a generous size so be prepared to have some links taken off - this cost me an extra £8 pounds but it's still worth it bearing in mind the price I paid for the watch on Amazon.

A quick update: I've had this watch for nearly 2 years now and it's absolutely fantastic. It's been dropped a few times and bashed against the worktop but not even a scratch! Love the fact that it doesn't need batteries. Would buy again. :-)
