Installation with the included harness was super quick and easy on my 2010 corvette.

The issue is that the on-screen situation is not working correctly. The unit is supposed to change the wording on the xm radio buttons but it hasn't, so its kind of like trying to operate a jukebox in a different language just guessing what the buttons do.

I really wish I wouldnt have wasted my money on this dumb thing.

Sound quality is fine, but the input of button to response of the ipod is also poor.

This product was perfect for my 2007 Cadillac CTS. You do have to take the back seat out and connect it to the xm satellite radio box but it was not that difficult. Make sure to read instructions. My ipod touch works great with it.

Picked this up for my cts-v. Considering there is no outside audio source this is a great product. Install is pretty straight forward, fits well in the voids under the rear seat. Longest part of the install is getting the cable under the carpet to the center console.

While it works for this car you can tell it's compatibility was an afterthrough. The diagrams that come in the instruction do not picture our nav system however the switch configuration for the ctsv are correct.

The functionality is the only "downfall" you can program the 6 preset buttons but they can only be reorganized. I was hopeful you could program 6 playlists on your iPod but it's easily changed from playlist to playlist. The only thing I changed is I made my own cable up and hard wired a USB socket in the center console instead of using clunky adapters for the different plugs this way you can use a lightning cable and a classic iPod cable.

The sound quality is better than cam/cds or any other option, no to say it's not up to standards as it's a very clean signal but I have the rca input off.

Overall it's worth the money. Buy it. I love my iPod and hate being without it.

So only reason I bought this was because my former system, isimple gateway, started frying my ipods in my 05 cadillac escalade...hence needed to get a new one and only reason I bought this one.

So far, its been incredibly hard to manage my music/figure out. If I wanna select music/switch songs playlists etc, basically can't do it via my car dash without messing up so to speak what I'm listening to already...only can do anything if doing directly via my ipod instead of via dash. With the isimple, the dash was just like using the ipod.

So, so far pretty disappointed with the USA spec relative to the gateway...music sounds good still, but wish I still had my isimple...minus the frying of the ipods..and to my knowlede, there's no other system I can put into an 05 escalade.

Unless I'm missing something n there's a way to use the dash like an ipod, can't give it more than 2 stars.

Has anyone had this problem b4 or use a USA spec? Anyone figured it out?

Installed this in my 2007 Cadillac CTS-V. The kit is great as there is no cutting of vehicle wires. The actual wire connections take mere seconds....accessing the connections and routing cables will require more time/effort/thought.
Remove the rear deck cover (a bit of a pain) and a jumper harness plugs in between the satellite radio model and factory wiring, then the PA15 module plugs into that for power & factory radio integration (or use the 5ft and/or 10ft extension to get the module where you want it.) The iPod control cable is probably about 5 ft and it would be handy if longer, but I suppose this could be overcome with an extended docking cable.
The instructions for setup/function/control are not really the best, so a fellow forum member with similar car will be helpful. Eventually I figured out how to setup my factory radio to control the PA15 and ultimately the iPod. Navigating to a specific album artist or song is best left to the passenger or done at a traffic. The controls are relatively intuitive (once you figure it out) but nowhere near as responsive as the iPods click wheel..and as you scroll (artist/album/or title) only one item line is shown at a time (unlike the multi-line display of the iPod). For best use playlists are probably a very wise choice!!!!
I should probably give this five stars, as it certainly does work (and for the money rather well), but it seems it could have been polished just a little more with better display (primarily while scrolling, multiple lines would be better than single line). But utimately it is a very good solution, for the problem of not being able to use an iPod or mp3 player with this vehicles factory radio.

Easy to install on an 05 corvette. I'm using my iphone and listening to iTunes Radio. I have a nav system with xmradio support. The buttons fwd/rev tracks works great. Other menu items and a little clunky and I've not mastered them yet. It will take me some time to fully get to grips with navigating my iphones music menus. Sounds ok but the input is too quiet. I have the volume on flat-out and it's just about loud enough for freeway driving. The gain needs to be turned up on the design, otherwise it would be 5 stars.
