I've been lusting after this style of emerald earrings ever since I saw Angelina Jolie wear her emerald earrings to the Oscars a few years ago. (I'm not familiar with the show, but I guess that _The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills_ Kyle Richards has also popularized these earrings.) While the stones in these are not as light-colored as Jolie's were, they are the exact replica otherwise, and are just gorgeous!

Since these are large, heavy earrings, the clip-on backing makes them more comfortable to wear than a pierced backing would.

They're two inches long and .75 inches wide at the largest width.

The emerald color is dark and beautiful, and the silver backing is also nice quality. Unlike another reviewer, I find these to be really well-made.

Since I have dark reddish-brown hair, the green doesn't show up as well on me with my hair down. (If you look at photos of Kyle Richards in these earrings with her hair down, you can really see the green of the stones; on me, you can't see the green that well at all with my hair down.) When I wear my hair up, though, you can see the full splendor of the green.

I've only worn these around the house to make sure that they're comfortable. Since our holiday parties are past, I don't even have an occasion to wear these to this year, but will most likely keep them since I've been lusting after these earrings for awhile, and love how gorgeous they are!
