This is a very nice little bracket that will work for what it is designed for. It would be nice if was made a bit stronger, because the design is great.
However, this is not to be used to hold 10 or 20 lb. units on your motorcycle. It was made with GPS and other small light products in mind.
I use mine for a Dynojet Power Vision CX and it will work fine for that. I don't intend to leave it on the bike all the time anyway. It has rubber under the clamp so it won't slide around and that will also help with vibration. Since this is made of a good plastic and it does have rubber under the clamp it will work just fine if you use Care when you tighten it down snug. Not Gorilla Tight.

I bought this mount so I could use my PowerVision tuner on my 2012 Harley Sportster 48. The mount was easy to install on the bike and has thin rubber that you can wrap around the handle bar to prevent it from moving. The mount is stiff enough that my PV doesn't move at high speed, but yet I can quickly unscrew the plate and have the PV off the bike in seconds.

I'm certain this item will work well on motorcycle or bicycle handle bars. It is well made and attaches securely. I tried to apply this item to a bar running at an angle in the windscreen of my airplane (the window is sloped, and so too is the round bar). I found the ball socket on the item does not rotate as much as I thought it would. Because of this, my Garmin GPS pointed down rather than horizontal. If I were using it on a bicycle or motorcycle, I would be giving it 5 stars. For those contemplating using it on a steeply angled bar (i.e. Piper Cherokee with one-piece windshield or other aircraft in a similar configuration), I cannot recommend it. If the ball socket could turn as much as the standard Garmin ball socket mounts, it would have worked just fine.

Nutze die Halterung an meinem motorrad in Kombination mit einem tomtom Urban rider.
Für mein altes blaupunkt Navi muss man die Löcher ein wenig anpassen, geht aber problemlos.

Der große Vorteil ist, dass die Halterung vergleichsweise klein ist und nicht so globig wie die üblichen ram mount.
