    I have bought two of these to protect the stereo in or 78 cj5 Jeep. The first one broke when we rolled the jeep down into a ravine and it landed on a stump. Cracked the front of the housing, but the stereo was fine. The old jeep does not have a top anymore and we do a lot of offroading in heavy dust and mud. It has worked well to protect the stereo. I even use a garden hose on it when washing out the inside if the Jeep. Verry happy with it.

    I liked the product as an undermount dash install. I just had to modify the rear wiring harness plate and antenna wiring to allow for proper fitment of my DIN Kenwood stereo. Overall I am pleased with the construction of the unit. One thing that could be improved on is the mounting bracket itself. It should be made of HDPF material or 1/8 aluminum material rather then ABS plastic.
