This is pretty and blends in well with the brown granite of my counter top. The paper towels pull off easily, It is a bit of a hassle to change the towel roll since you have to take the entire top knob off to do so. But, I like the look well enough to put up with that small inconvenience.

I ordered this to replace my previous paper towel holder and I really love it. Firstly, the construction is very nice - has a nice weight to it but it is not heavy. Secondly, the base is extremely good - it slides nice and easy without scatching and is a bit heavier so when you go to remove some paper towels it doesn't topple over. Thirdly, it is really very pretty on the counter top and matches quite nicely with my brushed bronze leaf theme in my kitchen as it has a nice shine, but it is not metal but more wood I believe with shiny metallic paint on it? Either way I just love the finish. Am very happy with this purchase.
