Solid and great price.
This was installed 8 feet in a utility closet ant my work. Original setup when first moved in was not done right and had to remove and rack the patch panel. This was a lot cleaner and easier to patch connections once installed in the new rack. You can see the after and before of the rack install photos above. (Uploaded photos backwards)

This is a nice rack for people who need a shallow closet rack. It is a little too shallow for my needs, but I mounted it on 1” blocks to create more depth and I purchased 90° IEC power cords. That kept me from buying a rack that was too big for my needs. Hopefully...just right. This rack mounts 16” on center, so it is right on the studs in standard walls. The first one I purchased had a faulty right front rail. It was manufactured with a slight flaw which prevented assembly. I was easily able to return the faulty rack and purchase a new one. The new rack was flawless and assembled easily.
2023 Update
I’ve purchased at least three more of these in the 8U version since my first post. I often mount them on 1” (5/4”) thick blocks to get 1” more room for the typical equipment I use and I really like the 90° IEC power cords for minimizing depth requirements. The photo is of a rack that is part way through an evolution. The 8 port switch will be retired soon and some patch panel items will be relocated. That’s why I now only use blank patch panels and keystone inserts. They make reconfiguration of a rack much easier.

Mangled/poor packaging. No lag bolts for mounting

It’s a rack, sturdy enough. 12” depth is useful. But the packaging is lacking and the unit was absolutely mangled, broken welds even. Fortunately I have a fabrication table and hammers. Also it does not come with lag bolts for mount to the wall as other network racks do.

Perfect for a small communications closet under the stairs. I installed the 24-port unmanaged switch, 24-port patch panel, 26-port coaxial patch panel, and the power strip. It gives a far neater and clean finish the alternative and allows for ethernet connections in every room of my house plus enough connections for my theater room to have wired internet connections.

This is a very sturdy rack and well worth the cost. I was not expecting the top and bottom pieces being only one solid piece but it was. Very heavy gauge steel, one piece and spot welded at the corners. The vertical rails are installed into rivet nuts (not expecting that either), not just nuts and bolts. Nice touch they added cage nuts and bolts to the rack. This costs a bit more but very impressive and well worth it. I'll do again when I need the next small rack to install.

Ships flat packed, but easy to assemble, easy to mount (used #12 or #14 round head screws), and the included cage nuts and bolts are easy to use.
Measure your equipment depths! Glad it's open to the back or i would have had to get right angle power cords for one of my peices!
