This product is a cool multi-tasking clipboard. It's really too big for me though. I wish they had one in a thinner version. ILove: The 3-ring binder- I mean inside a clipboard that is just awesome!Like: That you can keep your papers together in a neat container.Don't Like: Bulky: I wanted to be able to take it home everyday, but its big. It would be good for something you keep around the office and take to meetings.I deducted one star for the black holder item. It really is awkward. It can only hold pencils, no pens. Also the note card holder is actually too small for note cards. Great idea, but poorly designed.I returned mine because it arrived with red stains on the back of it. Like it had been used or laid on something sticky. This is basic quality control, inspect the item before shipping it. But that's a review of the seller, not the actual item.

First day I got it and took to work it accidentally dropped off a table and fell to the floor and broke with the first time it fell.

Overall, it's a solid and reasonably priced storage clipboard with an unusual design. It easily fits a 7" tablet, my smartphone along with papers and pens if you remove the internal pencil/CD/notebook holder.

The double hinge is a little unusual and contributes difficulty opening the case. It's not technically sticky, but one corner or the other tends to grab as I open it depending on an ever so slight variation in where I grip the lid. When I turn the case sideways and (attempt to) lift the lid at the precise center, it will occasionally open without an issue. Doing that in practice is a 50/50 proposition so far. Essentially it's a well intentioned design with a flaw in how it will be used by humans.

If I were using this every day and needed to open and close it frequently, I'd pitch it across the room at some point. For occasional use and as a way to store a few items between less frequent events, it will do. I'm still hoping I can wear down or sand down an edge and get it to open smoothly every time.

I use this to keep the two current coloring books I am using and scratch paper organized. Sometimes I also place the colors I am currently using inside to keep them separated from the larger collection. It is sometimes slightly difficult to open (edge sticks after locking mechanism is opened), but I prefer the no-spill security to easier use.

I really like the strength of this clip board. The storage are is great as it holds all my cards, pens, and my small digital camera.

The biggest grip I have is the inner paper sleeve does not hold a normal 11x7 piece of paper in it without the paper being creased by the closing of the clip board. This definitely a bad mechanic because now I have to leave my papers inside it without something holding them in there. So I could open it and have all my papers fall out, which is frustrating.

I purchased this for my husband to use at work. He really likes it. It is very sturdy and I can attest to this after I caught our 25 lbs toddler standing on it and nothing broke. It didn't even seem to bow under his weight. The only thing to note about this product that he didn't like was the pen holder being very narrow. I'm assuming it must be designed only for pencils or thin pens, so if you use anything wider than a pencil, it is not going to fit into the holders. Other than that, it is a great product.
