Product Description

These are the perfect speakers for any occasion or application Because they are water-resistant and can withstand all weather conditions. They were designed with durability in mind, so there's no need to worry about rust or wear-and-tear. Use them on your deck or patio, by the pool, or in your garage. They also make great additions to any surround sound home theater, will fit onto any bookshelf, can be used with any PA system and are great to use In bathrooms and kitchens. Each speaker can handle 200 watts of power (100W RMS), and has a three-way design and functionality. They feature a 4" Poly dynamic cone woofer, a 2" Mylar dome midrange, a 1/2" Mylar dome tweeter, a butyl rubber surround and a steel mesh grille. Included are mounting brackets, which provides for hassle-free installation in any location.

Great speakers for the price I use them for surround they sound great on my Yamaha v685 I don't use them for the front speakers I doubt they have enough umph to to make you believe your in the movie but for what I use them for worth every penny and at $40 a pair you have to be reasonable.(update) they handle bass terribly. This passes the subjective test for me. We just got a karaoke machine and want something cheap but decent.

There's absolutely no problem with loudness.

In terms of sound quality, I do prefer turning the bass on amplifier all the way up. Otherwise it sounds about same to me playing the music I have often listened to in car, computer, and on headphones.

These speakers are an incredible value. They sound like they are 3 or 4 times the price. The brackets are very nice and the thumbscrews allow for easy removal for winter storage. No they do not pound out the bass but if you adjust the tone settings on your amp the sound is more than acceptable.
