Don't know how the other guy charged his battery then installed in the camera. Mine, the camera IS the charger.....
Anyway, this battery sells for less than $30, at Sony, where it must be ordered from the web site, it is $115. This battery is a perfect fit. I would not be surprised to learn that maker of this battery also makes the sony battery.
And, if you order a CD, that makes the shipping FREE!

I installed this battery in my light system for the first time, and the battery began to come out, I placed the same battery into another light system and I have the same problem. I was trying to install it again and the bottom part of the battery came apart. So I was not able to use it at all. I bought 2 of these batteries, the other one I didn't want to use it.
