I purchased this pack in 2017 for one reason only, EDC, and found, as others have, that it was a bit too "poofy" on my waist, with only my M&P9c on board. With a little bit of sewing, I took up some of the folds at the four corners, to make it fit and stay more snug to my body. Under an oversized T-shirt, and especially with black shorts/pants, it simply disappears. I ordered the medium size for the 9c, and anything smaller would not have worked. Stitching, material, seams, and zippers seem more than adequate, and I've had zero issues with any of them....although the gun compartment zippers do feel a little flimsy, and might possibly break over time, under repeated practicing. We'll see.
Secondly, I found the velcro tabs inside to be insufficient for what I felt was safe carry, especially without a trigger guard. I added an inexpensive GunMate holster from Walmart...tacked a bit of velcro on the back of it, and was able to cant the holster to the best position, due to the generous velcro loop pad built into the weapon compartment of the pack, which allowed me to exactly fit the holster where I wanted it.
On the plus side, the cordura material is very sturdy. There has been absolutely no problem retaining the 9c very comfortably and securely, exactly where I want it, and access, after much practice, is very respectable. Additionally, I added a GunMate magazine holder on the belt, with the pack at my 1 o'clock, and the magazines at my 11 o'clock. That gives me 37 rounds on board, or room for 25 rounds and a folder knife. I've also added a velcro loop for my tactical flashlight.
I did remove the Bulldog tag, and bought a separate "The North Face" patch from Ebay, which I sewed onto the front. Since then, I've strolled through stores with the pack in full view, without so much as a glance from anyone. It simply looks like I might be an outdoor-type dude. And, since I'm retired, casual attire is my daily dress, year round....either cargo shorts or cargo pants (usually black)....an oversized T-shirt, with or without a jacket, depending on temps. The finished product would not look too much out of place, even if I was headed out to dinner or theater. However, I am considering a Ruger LCP-II for those times, very deep concealment in a pocket holster, when the fanny pack might just not quite be appropriate.
Four stars only because of the modifications required, which are really my personal choice...although I consider the trigger guard a necessity, and would give this five stars, if an inexpensive holster was included in the original item. I would buy this again, and have recommended it to other family members.

Pros
- plenty of room
- aesthetics
- quick release zipper
Cons
- bulky (although this may be ok for some, or for those that plan to use it regularly.)
My gun is a Visor 50 or otherwise known as a CZ-50. This gun fits the bag beautifully. While closely examining the gun compartment, I discovered that the velcro circle that the gun attached to the bag, actually can be removed and turned around so that it now fits perfectly to a right handed shooter. Once I reconfigured it, I was perfectly happy with it. If you should buy one, remember you can remove the circular piece that connects to the bag to make it either left or right handed. Nothing is said about that in the instructions which are severely lacking.
I took it out for a trial run today in the local mall without any fanfare. Just looks like all those other folks with fanny packs. You can't beat this for the price. I bought the medium size and it will work with guns sized about the same as the PPk and others of that size range.
