For over 45 years Athalon has been the most recognized name in Snowsport Travel Bags. In 1973, Athalon established manufacturing in Denver, Colorado. Each bag was designed and developed by Athalon employees, who were avid sports enthusiasts and travelers. In order to pass our rigorous standards each bag had to be incredibly durable and also work perfectly. The pockets had to be properly sized and placed in the ideal spot for maximum comfort and usefulness. The shoulder straps and handles had to be appropriately balanced and comfortable. Every bag had to be lightweight and water repellent. Each stress point, whether on a handle, shoulder strap or seam had to be reinforced and tested to withstand rigorous use.

As the years passed, Athalon’s reputation for quality and service grew. Today we design and manufacture bags for professional sports teams, other high-quality manufacturers and better sporting goods and luggage shops.

This is the fourth one I have bought of this same bag over the last ~10 years.l for the family. Great design very roomy for ski boots, helmet, gloves and accessories, even a stuffed coat. Pockets are in the right places.

On one of these bags the backstrap broke, and there’s a big hole now duck taped in the corner bottom probably from checking it as airline luggage, and another one wore out, so long term durability is questionable. This is a replacement of the same bag because overall I’m very happy with it and would buy it again as long as the price is reasonable. This new one was just checked in as airline luggage and came back in great shape.
