The size is perfect to carry inside a larger David King backpack or tote to pull out when running errands after work or class. The top zipper does not run the complete length of the bag which is a design flaw in my opinion.

The flap is secured by velcro which is a little cheap and loud. The 3 pockets are very roomy, It's like a small purse. Leather feels nice.
