I was looking for a hotpot/BBQ grill for a while. They either too fancy or too expensive, so I didn't buy until my friend recommended this to me. I have to say this is the best pot I have ever used in my life. So far, I used this twice a week. The price is great and it is reasonable. I used this for hotpot and Korean BBQ. I also used once when I went out for camping. Easy to use and clean!! Trust me this is the one you want! Simple but enough!

Purchased this as an electric option for Chinese style hot pot. Works great in heating up and maintaining the temp for keeping the soup hot/boiling. It's a good size for sharing with 2-3 people. I like that there's the outside plastic rim that holds up the inner pot. The heat control is easy to use and the unit does heat up quickly. Great that there's a glass top. Easy to clean and store when not in use. Highly recommend.

This is the best vessel for cooking hotpot with up to like 5-6 friends!!!! It’s so easy to use and take apart for cleaning. It boils water pretty quickly so I can immediately get it going and start tossing veggies and meat in my hotpot. Love love love. I’ve had mine for three years and it’s still going strong. I even gifted one because I liked it so much. I will say though that at this point, part of the black (non-stick?) coating of the grillet has peeled or chipped off so I’m taking off a star for that.

This little electric grill/skillet works great but has a flaw the actual metal insert that gets hot for cooking is above the white plastic surrounding piece and burns your fingers and forearms if your skin accidentally touched it. Needs to be designed better to avoid burns. Otherwise it works as described. I wish it was bigger and hope they redesign and put white plastic around metal insert same height to avoid burns.

this hotpot, not cheap, lasted precisely one (1) use then died. Didn't work again. Dead, defunct.
In its one use, I was reminded of the problem common the electrical heating gadgets; they are either on, flat out, or not on at all. A rolling simmer, I'd have thought essential in a hot pot, is not possible.
Go gas next one, not electric. And particularly not one of these.

Just love this pot. I've used it every day since it arrived. Heats and cooks very fast, and holds quite a lot. Love the grill marks, and how well it sears meat. Very happy with it, but still waiting for my refund on the other grill Amazon could not deliver. What's up with that?
