Overall the product works very well and is well constructed. The headset will take getting use to by people such as me not accustomed to a device covering only one ear and clinging to the skull with the opposing clip on the opposite side from the earpiece. The earpiece is cushioned and soft transmitting the sounds very well from it and into the ear canal. The cord I found was sufficient in length unless one is standing while using it or has the phone and base unit far from where they are using it.
The controls are all-encompassing allowing for modulation of the sound levels and its tone. They literally have a tone "wheel" to adjust tone as well as outgoing and incoming microphone and headset sound levels. It also has another adjustment for sound labeled "Tx" which also seems to "brighten" the sound. Overall, I found it to be precisely what I needed. And for most people it was even better than I expected, which I think most want to have that as their final evaluation. Yes it rocked in its role and I love it. (but not enought to marry it)
It has excellent construction, thoughtfully laid out control, and a solid feel to it. Purchase it with confidence. Only one way to get something that I can only speculate is better is to get the "12 " model assuming it is better in terms of maybe sound controls or whatever but I can't see how it is better plus it will cost more:o)
