Don't waste your money...most numbers are faded so badly you can't read them.

Don't waste your money...most numbers are faded so badly you can't read them.
I work in a bank, & my current coin tray is very old. The white has rubbed off, making it very hard to see the amounts when I'm balancing. I was so excited to find this (& one other) coin tray! When I received the other, less costly, one, I was disappointed that many (if not most) of the numbers were missing lots of the white ink, so wasn't readable. I ordered this one, thinking the higher priced one would surely be better -- NOT SO. The middle column of numbers is very bright, as all of them should be. The other columns get more & more faded as you go out toward the left & right edges. It's going back, too. VERY disappointing. Guess I'll buy a tiny paint brush & some white paint, & try to fix my old tray.Update 6-30-17 -- Found a higher quality tray a bit less in cost, made in the USA (yay!) on US Bank Supplies site. It has dark writing, & is GREAT!!!

Quality product, counts coins perfectly every time. The only downside, you can't easily roll coins with this, I wish they had made just one extra column that is just a smooth straight slot to allow for moving the coins over to it and rolling them. That would have been an excellent additional feature!

This is an interesting item that I use often but its a little expensive for what it is. It speeds up counting a little but not significantly so because while/after you're loading it you have to be sure that every slot is filled or its inaccurate. Sometimes when you put in a stack the slots are under/overfilled which you need to correct.

This is useful for when counting a cashier drawer but if you're doing more you might as well get a coin sorter, if less then count by hand. I find its easiest to use this tray with 1 type of coin at a time so you can just flip the tray over to empty it out.

As for the picture, the color is accurate but it actually looks more like
PM Company SecurIT Counter Change Tray, 9.75 x 7.625 x 1.625 Inches, Beige, 1 per Box (05025)  than the one provided.

I love this coin sorter. Some reviews grumbled because all the slots are divided into groups of 5 and they didn't like that for quarters. That said, I don't find it a problem since I'm counting out coins to be put in paper rolls so it works fine and the off-set slots are just a bonus to keep it all straight in my head. The sorter has a good angle, it has non-skid feet, it's nice and sturdy. I'm very pleased with it.

Pennies grouped by 5 makes sense. Nickels grouped by 5 make sense. Dimes grouped by 5 make sense. Quarters grouped by 5 MAKES NO SENSE. Who the hell counts quarters going 1.25, 2.50, 3.75, 5.00? Nobody that's who. They need to change this and make the quarters in groups of 4, NOT 5.

Tried more expensive coin sorters.

After spending a lot of time looking at various types of sorters, this seems to be the best value for the money. No parts to break!!

Well designed, well made. Purchased for Canadian coins and it does not functions as I had hoped. Some of the coin dimensions are off enough that it does not sort properly. I had an issue with the quarters and the slot would hold 6 and not 5 as intended. Couple of miscounts and had to let it go ...
