The Plantronics Y Splitter is an essential component to any business that likes to do on the spot coaching of staff that interact via phone with customers. This allows you to sit next to a rep and listen to their phone calls so that you can provide guidance and ensure quality levels.
We use them in my businesses so that we can give on the spot coaching. The coaching helps employees feel like we're hands on in improving their performance, and it also allows us to correct issues as they arise immediately instead of after the fact. Since it functions with the quick disconnect it allows quick and easy set up.
Overall, the quality of the product is decent. Likely a 3.5 - 4 star quality, but the pricing on the product dictated a higher scoring since it's very affordable
Just remember, short side to rep, long side to QA or whoever else is monitoring.

2nd purchase-generic item received.
I received a generic flimsy cable. Less than a week ago I purchased my first pair and received the original brand name y cord. I use these for work and have used them for years. I know what the product should be and if you promote that that's what your selling, then you should be truthful. Until I don't receive the proper item I purchased this review will stay. I will update it when my proper cord comes in.
