Georgian Mourning Ring with Black Enamel, circa 1824

About the Item

This Georgian ring is hallmarked 1824 and is engraved with the words 'Died Nov 3rd 1874'. This is an original mourning ring made in 18 carat yellow gold and covered with black enamel. There is a small natural pearl in the centre of the ring, and the unique patterning on the edges is all hand crafted. This piece of history measures 9mm wide and unfortunately can not be resized.
