shannonwired Hi I bought these and the rose gold is chipping off leaving it black. What can we do?

cburdelle @shannonwired hi! do you wear them while showering/swimming, exercising, sweating or anything? i have the exact same ones but they’re gold instead of rose gold and haven’t had an issue. fashion jewelry like this definitely doesn’t hold up for as long as gold/silver :(

cburdelle @shannonwired do you see anything in my closet $25 or under that you’re interested in? or if you see two or more items, i’ll throw in a $25ish item for free. i’m not sure what else to do, i want to make it right though. you could paint them with rose gold nail polish (kidding) but please let me know how you’d like to proceed!

shannonwired @cburdelle no I only wore them twice. Once to a party and then the next day. They are gorgeous. Using a bit of rose gold spray paint isn’t such a bad idea. It’s such a small chip. I can send a picture. I just don’t want it to chip more.

cburdelle @shannonwired you can use a clear top coat of nail polish on the earrings. i’ve read online that a lot of people do that with fashion jewelry to reduce tarnishing/color fading! i’ve done it many times :)
