@dawnschool its known as a lens number, its so if you wear prescription glasses it tells the optometrist the size of the lens to install. ;-)

@dawnschool No, it just means that they can be prescription. It is a good sign of quality because the optometrist have the lens that fit those frames. Cheap frames do not..
