drvanillabean @luvinlex Thanks for your question! I actually used information from other listings of the same earrings on Poshmark, so I don't have a way to authenticate the material. From my research they are gold plated, but since I can't authenticate I've gone ahead and changed the description wording. Thanks again for your question! ~ Vanessa
