Light jacket, but heavy duty, roomy so it can absolutely fit a size small and possibly medium, and great for the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Put it in the wash and hung to dry. I took out 3 of the scratchy velcro patches on one side because I didn't like how that looked and didn't want it to mess up the jacket in case it snagged. I kept the velcro on both sides on the neck area so that still closes. The "whiteish" patch areas is where the velcro was. If you would like to see more pictures in greater detail, let me know!
