[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my husband, in a Wide size as he has a wider toebox. They broke in pretty quickly, and are super comfortable. They provide good ankle support but aren't too stiff, and he even wears them as every day shoes when he's got to be outside or work near job sites, etc. They quickly became our new favorite boot for everyday hikes or even life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a great hiking boot for the average hiker like me. I took them out for about a 5-mile hike to break them in. They worked perfectly and kept my feet dry and gave me good traction while on the trail even in the wet and damp areas of the woods. The only issue I had with them is they are a little narrow for my feet. They didn't cause any blisters and I think they will loosen up as I break them in but it is a snug fit for the width of my feet personally. Otherwise an all-around great hiking book!

They are a lot more money and while comfortable they last just as long for twice the price. We purchased a pair of these at the outlets last year and from day 1 said it was like walking on air. We purchased another pair because he loved them so much!

I Simply Cannot Fathom Just How Comfortable These Shoes Are.

WOW! I have been wearing these Totally Awesome Shoes for over six years.

I really do like the boot, but they did not remain waterproof for long. I walk a lot where water condenses in grasses, and the water starting to quickly pass through the upper after just a few months of daily use. The boots are also a little narrow, so the next pair like it I try I will get a wide size.

Nice boot, not waterproof for long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought these as a gift for our nephew to outfit him for a backpacking trip with us over July 4th weekend. The boots had three different holes in them after a two-night backpacking trip (photos attached). The terrain was lava rock and rugged, but it seems like they should have lasted more than one trip. I wouldn't recommend them on any rocky terrain; maybe they would perform better in wet/muddy environments or more casual day hikes. He's a teenager and liked the style of the boots.

Boot is stylish and very comfortable with good tread.  Boot is not waterproof in the least.  If you want to keep your feet dry, even in light rain or the occasional trail puddle, buy something else.  Also, rear heel squeaks.  If your not worried about the waterproof claim, then these are pretty nice hiking boots for dry weather.

No good

I have owned Colombia hiking shoes before, which were awesome. These are not! I have a narrow foot and these are too tight. Tongue not even wide enough to cover top of foot when laced--obviously creating water proof issues. The mesh on front of foot crinkles whenever I walk. Sounds like ripping tape up from carpet. No stealth with these and everybody around will think you have tape stuck to soles. Not too soft of cushining. Very disappointing.
