legs are of fixed height once attached. I'm thinking a higher chair than normal would do the trick

You can cut them off but it does need legs as without legs the gas hose gets in the way.

The legs have about a half inch of adjustment up and down using the thumb screw used to attach them to the stove. You can also buy the leg levelers that Camp Chef makes and put them into the bottom of the legs giving you about 5 inches of adjustment per leg.

It does not have auto ignition - but it can be added as an accessory - there is already a hole by each heat controller for an ignitor to be installed - the part number is CCING - The part name is Universal ignitor - this stove would require two of these - one for each burner.

at $119 doesnt have one, but i think the $149 has one

My local superstore Walmart had this in stock so I was able to pickup the same day I ordered. My husband and I have a food business and this came in handy right in time ! Super easy to setup and turn on, it took my husband about 5 mins to pull out of box and have standing on its feet! We connected our propane take and we for started right away ! The range is from low to high and its incredible to see the flame have so much power to it. We fit 2 large pots on it and it worked perfectly for a 3hr cooking. Im looking forward to using this all winter long !

Gets the job done effortlessly

Loving this camp stove. It has powerful burners, sturdy construction and a great height for cooking.   It is set up permanently  as part of my outdoor kitchen on back deck. I went ahead and ordered the cover and folding side shelves too and am very pleased with the whole setup.

Great camp stove. I like the sides for wind break and the bottom that won't let the wind blow out the flame. The only thing I wish they had added were the side shelves. You can get them, you just have to buy them. Camp chef makes great products.

I am using this to finish maple syrup. I am placing 1 pan over both burners. Works great.

Con: Would like to be able to place on SS counter, BUT gas hose connection comes out the front at a 45 deg angle and hose hits counter. When used with legs works great.

Well built

This is the best grill we have ever bought. We also bought the griddle that fits it and so easy to make breakfast when out camping. No more mess in the trailer. It cleans up really easy also.

very sturdy but a little bit heavy and awkward to get the legs on.  it's a simple process but as I said a little  cumbersome to turn the burner assembly either on it's side or grate to attach the legs.  Other than that it's great.  I am using it to can my garden vegetables in the garage.  Much cooler in the kitchen that way.  It works very well.  Another small inconvenience is it does not have an igniter.  No big deal just use a long lighter.

This is a great stove, which is well built and sturdy. I like the fact that the stoves are shielded from the bottom with a metal sheet. This helps catch food instead of dropping on the ground. 

The stove comes with no accessories. I wish it came with some basic ones. You need to buy them separately, and they're expensive. There is no ignition or auto light option to light the stove.

Best bang for the buck!! 30,000 btu works like a charm, aside from the electronic ignition, wish it came with an outdoor cover, but still its the best 2 burner stove for the price out there!!

So convenient to have an extra stove in my back yard for messy food, like frying. The unit looks sturdy, well built for the price. Great value. My only complaint is that it should have larger wind blocker.
