So far so good. Seems like good quality. Like that it doesn't take up as much space as large air hockey table and functions as a game table. Panels on base were difficult to assemble but otherwise assembly was easy.

If you're going to have a game table of this size in your house, I think it's nice to have something that accommodates as many people as possible. And with this hockey table, you get an option for a second game – poker. Up to 4 can play the hockey game and up to 8 can play poker. Because it's air powered the puck glides really fast and smoothly over the laminated 3/16 inch thick surface. It has an LED electronic scorer with sound effects, which is cool. It's constructed for stability. The poker mat is padded so you can comfortably rest your forearms.

Great 2-for-1 fun

I'm going to try and be as objective as I can about this purchase because I couldn't find any reviews on this for the longest time.

First, this table is outstanding.  This is not an exaggeration.  It is well built.  It is sturdy (not to mention heavy!) The table itself is absolutely gorgeous.  The air flow is strong.  The puck glides beautifully.  The lights that denote the score are a very nice touch.  It is a good height and a good size.  

My two biggest concerns was the height, width and air flow.  I can tell you that all 3 of my concerns do not exist even in the slightest.  Good size for both adults and children.

Now the downside.  And it's a big one as it relates to putting it together.  I am going to tell you right now that it is IMPOSSIBLE to complete the panel section without a very savvy assistant.  I can practically guarantee you that you will not be able to put this table together without 2 people.  Guaranteed.  My neighbor is an engineering genius and I asked him for help because if the impossibility and he agreed that without his insight and strong labor there was no way we could have put this together.  I am not exaggerating about this.

I really wanted to lower this to 4 stars because of the installation problem, but it's so beautiful I couldn't.  But buyer beware about the panels.  I'm not joking about it being impossible without 2 very savvy people who know what they're doing.

All in all, still an outstanding product.

Outstanding Product, Impossible install w/o help

This is heavy but manageable with two people assembling...or three! Soooo much fun to be had here! The table is perfect height for playing cards or air hockey. The air for the puck is awesome, no dead spots, the puck flows perfectly and it isn't super loud. The mat for poker is non slip. Easy to follow directions. This will last a long time, it is sturdy and well made! Great family gift.

The MD Sports Premium 4 Player Air Powered Hockey Table with portable poker mat is an awesome product to have for the family! It's so much fun! We played for hours when I first put it together. Set up wasn't too bad, the directions were pretty good and easy to follow. The box is huge, and the table is a good size too. It's made very good and durable. So easy to play and use. My son is obsessed with it! It feels like we have our own arcade! It's awesome! We never want to stop playing! I HIGHLY recommend this product! You won't be disappointed!

I was 14 years old in 1969 when the Air Hockey game showed up on the scene. It was an instant hit and all of my friends would play it at the town's recreation department or game room. Back in those days, not many families could afford their own Air Hockey tables for the kids. Fast forward 49 years later, and having an Air Hockey table in the home is no longer unusual. A lot of homes nowadays have game rooms with all sorts of entertainment.

For my review today, I received an MD Sports Premium Air Hockey table. The most important feature is the table itself. This MD Sports Premium Air Hockey table is really impressive. It accommodates 2 to 4 players at a time. The table top is smooth because it is laminated. The required air flow to the table's surface is strong. This strong air flow reduces friction by suspending a "puck" ( which is a small, hard black plastic disc ) on a cushion of air. This, in turn, causes the puck to glide at a constant speed over the table. This makes it harder to hit as well as control. The puck is the main focus of play in the game of Air Hockey. Each player tries to hit the puck in the opponent's goal, (which is an opening) that he is guarding. Included with the table are 4 pushers ( device to hit and control the puck ) and a total of 4 pucks. There are 2 round, 1 triangular, and 1 octagon shape puck. The different shapes of the pucks make it more difficult to control with the pusher. When there are only two players the other openings are blocked by a red clipping strip.

The table comes with a paneled, LED electronic scorer. If that's not enough, there are even arcade sound effects!!! The full leg panels and the wider base of the table provide the strength and steadiness that is needed for this activity. Playing with my 6-year-old Grandson is so much fun. He gets so excited when he makes a puck go into my goal/pocket. If you end up with 4 pucks in your pocket, you become the loser. He laughs over and over and it makes me happy to see him enjoying himself. This Air Hockey can wear a Grandmother out pretty fast.

Now when it's time for the grown-ups to have the fun, they can play Air Hockey themselves or they can play a more serious, grown-up game of "POKER." This MD Sports Premium Air Hockey table can and does convert to a Poker table. Included is a splendid, quality poker mat. This mat has a non-slip rubber backing, with a playing surface that is smooth and soft. It looks like and makes one feel like he/she is at a casino or a poker establishment.

This table is the perfect height for sitting down to play Poker or standing up for a game of air hockey. The table is an octagon shape and all 8 rails are padded for the individual's comfort. I can tell you that this combination Air Hockey/Poker table is built well, it's heavy and rugged. It would compliment any spare room or game room.

I do have a few negatives to state about this product. While playing Air Hockey, the electronic LED scorekeeper was kinda hit and miss. At times it kept the score perfectly and other times the light did not come on. Sometimes we had to reset the scorekeeper to get it to work correctly. The control buttons for clearing and resetting are located on the side of the table. Another little problem is that pucks fall out of the pockets. I suppose it depends on how hard the puck is driven/hit into the other player's goal/pocket. Lastly, I am passing on this opinion from my handyman, husband. It is his opinion, that when putting the table on the base, he disagrees with the instruction manual. He found that turning the base right side up (instead of upside down as per the manual) was much easier for the two of us, to lift the heavy table and sit on the top of the base. Placing the base on the table, securing it, then turning it right side up would be awkward and harder. The table top is heavy.

However you put it together, I can assure you and your family/friends will enjoy and appreciate this MD Sports Premium Air Hockey with Portable Poker Mat Game Table. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to review this fantastic product.

AIR HOCKEY TIME

Works well.  Nice family fun.  
One warning, panels for underneath are stupidly designed and very hard to apply.  Rest of it seemed well thought out and built and straightforward to assemble.

Good table with one minor flaw

Despite pre-drilled holes and following the instruction, assembly of the base was not easy.   The base kick-walls and trim pieces could not be installed with a snug fit.

Difficult Base Assembly

I only gave this one star bc I had to to continue. I am extremely frustrated with this product and more importantly walmart for offering zero help. We have had this less than a month and the air is already not working. Walmart offers no replacement motor and can only offer a refund but to get that I have to take apart the table that took 3 hours to put together in the first place just to break less than 10 uses later...????? I dont want to return the entire table bc I dont have a way to even get it to walmart without taking it apart...I want to just take a hammer to it instead bc it is complete junk. Do not buy!
