This is such a nice piece to have for the those rainy, coldish, but not freezing days. Love the lightweight, but warm feel. It feels like I'm wrapped up in a down blanket. The hood is a nice size and does a great job at protecting you from rain. The main zipper was a little weird at first, but I'm getting used to it. I really like that it has zippered pockets and an inside pocket that zips too--that's a nice, premium feature. The camo print is cool and a little edgy too. Don't hesitate on this one...I feel like I will have this jacket for a long time.

As people stated it isn't a thick coat but I knew that when I bought it. I combine it with the Ascent vest underneath---both in the beautiful purple color.

Combine with Ascent vest makes perfect combo! Hooded, too!

There are so many puff jackets out there but I am a loyal EB customer especially in this line of clothing. I felt confident with the description of the "warmth" and also the fit. I like the neoprene type of material around the arm pit area for movement. It is not boxy, a little curve but not so snug that you can't move. I don't wear sweaters or bulky sweatshirts. I did get the large and it has a little warm but mostly so that I can use the appropriate base layers for outdoor activities - hiking, skiing, snow shoeing.

I've been wearing this jacket almost every day for two months - skiing, hiking, running and in the city. It is my go-to jacket both on its own and when layering!

Have not had a chance to wear a lot but wore this weekend with temp dipping down to 40s and 50s and was very warm. Love the lightweight quality as it packs taking up very little room. Only complaint is that it is tight in the chest. I have a small frame but am 38D and the EB medium petite which typically fits well is tight across the chest in this jacket. However, kept it because the large would have been too big in the shoulders and sleeves. Overall, I really like it and would recommend.

Love the Jacket!

I ordered two of theses jackets in different colors. Yes, you can see dark feathers in the orange one, if you look close. It may not bother you, if you don't try to find the faint dark spots. The purple one was a nice color. Both jackets fit every where except the sleeves. If I let my arms stay straight all the time, then it was wearable. When I bend my arms, it was snug right above the elbow. I can't walk around with my arms straight all the time, so back they both go. Eddie Bauer please made your sleeves more generous so I can order shirts and coats in talls that fit. I am a female with slightly muscular arms.

Nice light weight jacket

Wanted a thin, packable jacket for climbing Rainier, but returned as this would not fit the bill. Even on a balmy MN day this wouldn't keep me warm. Held up to the light you can see huge patches where the insulation was completely missing. Wasn't warm at all. It's thin though, and compresses down well. Just nothing to it. Looks cute though, nice pockets.

Not a climbing jacket

The coat seems like it was under "stuffed" with down. You could almost see through it in places ( I got the silver color). Was poorly made for the price!

Needs some improvement for the $$

I have had this jacke for less than one month and has tears at the seams. Would not recommend. Too late to return. A waste of money. Expensive waste at that. Very disappointed.
