I love the tent. It's spacious and functionable. I like how the the windows open/close from the inside vs running outside in a storm and wrestle with closing them. The screened in porch is fantastic. I like that it has the netted drain part to prevent water from gathering. We put our chairs in it during storms and it's like sitting on our front porch (almost).

New and First Time Tent Owner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plan on using this Coleman 4 person cabin with screened porch next weekend so I did a test run in my backyard. I did it alone and the set up took under 15min from unboxing to finish! It's roomy and comfortable! Tall enough to stand in and the porch area is large enough to set up a couple chairs and a small table. The breakdown only took about 10min from start to finish and it folded and rolled up easily and fit back into the storage bag with room to spare.  Looking forward to putting this tent to good use!

Roomy & Easy!

I liked this tent. The vestibule was awesome, and tent was roomy. Set up by myself and wasn't too bad with no wind, but the tent is big and would recommend a 2 people.
Rained on my first use. ~70 Fahrenheit and very humid outside. The tent did get a bit stuffy, but it has decent ventilation. You can open the front vestibule and get air from the front (porch area remained dry) and the rear windows can be unzipped halfway, plus a rear bottom vent. 
The tent did leak a bit. With light rain, I saw no leak, but when it started raining moderately the rear bottom corners had a small drip leak. I think basically the stitching at these corners was a bit loose and was allowing a small drip. It was manageable to keep dry with a towel for a couple hours. Since I'm car camping, I just broke camp when the weather was clearing up. Was able to break the tent down reasonably quick and get it packed. Will seam seal the corners and I imagine this tent will work well for some time.

First time use review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of days ago, and decided to do a practice assembly in the back yard. Everything comes inside of a zippered tote bag. The tent, awning, poles, and stakes. The instructions are sewn into the inside of the tote. No misplacing then this way! The instructions were easy to follow as I assembled this with the help of my 5yr old granddaughter and a rubber mallet. Didn't take too long to get it all up. Granted, had I had another adults help, it would've been much quicker. The screened in porch area is perfect to place a couple of chairs so you can sit in a bug free, shaded area. The sleeping portion is very roomy, and will definitely sleep 4. More if it was a bunch of little kids using it. The height of the ceiling is perfect for those under 6' tall. No need to crawl off hunch down inside. Without the rain awning attached to the top, you could sleep with a view of the night sky.  Large screened windows on 3 sides of the sleeping area provide lots of air flow. Attaching the rain awning provides shade, rain protection and privacy to the top. There's also 2 stretchy mesh pockets in both corners of the sleep area for storing small items up out of the way. All in all a great tent! Just wish the storage tote bag was a bit bigger. You really have to roll up the tent perfectly and tight to get it all back inside. Would highly recommend  this tent.

Roomy with great features!

I was looking for a small unique tent to take to the Adirondack Mountains and this is what I bought. I love that it's weatherproof. I love all the windows and the screen porch in the front of the tent is the best part. When you walk into the porch area you can take your shoes off before getting into the sleeping room so no debris gets into where you sleep! This is a great design with a lot of head room.

4-Person Cabin Tent with Enclosed Weatherproof

I've gone through and been in many tents. This one is my favorite so far. The rain fly covers the screen porch which is an improvement from the Carlsbad with screen porch. 
Big enough for 2 cots and gear. Easy to put up by myself. Rain fly covers windows enough to keep rain out yet let air flow. This is its maiden voyage at Elkmont campground in Great Smoky Mts National Park.

Perfect for me

Where to start. This tent was perfect. I owned my previous Coleman 6-person tent for 5 years and was looking for an upgrade. I specifically wanted something with a 6 foot head clearance (I am tall and like standing), windows that could be opened even when they rain fly was on and a "porch" area. I did a lot of research and this tent had no reviews but I went for it. And boy I am happy I did. The porch is perfect. You have a 6' head clearance from the moment you walk into the tent all the way to the back (previous tents were 6' in the middle) so no ducking to walk in. The non-porch area perfectly fit my queen size blowup mattress. We were able to keep our stuff on the porch and out of the way of our sleeping area. My pup also loved laying there all night so he could "look-out". The inside has a mesh lining that allows for water to drain out, we did get small ants that crawled through to get the dog food so we will not be leaving food out there anymore. The inside has pockets along the walls that are very well designed so you can put a phone in it without the whole tent wall dropping down. The windows go back to the classic tent design windows and you can "roll" them down. The mesh topping without a rain fly allowed us to stare at the Milkway and stars all night. Pop-up is pretty easy. Stake down the corners, add the three poles (fun part is they are color codded) and bam you are ready. The rain fly does require a fourth pole but you can add that in less than 2 mins. The packaging is bigger than my old 6-person but that is fine with me since I am just using this to car camp.

The Perfect Tent!

It is a very sweet tent. We used it for 2 peope with cots inside. The screened porch is lovely, it keeps the dirt away from inside and provides open view of the nature. I like that you can stand inside. There are a few pockets in each corner of the tent for small things like a hairbrush or a phone. The only downside is that it has lots of stakes (12?), so if you are camping in rocky place, it could be a problem. It is not very light, so it is more for "glamping" than wilderness trip.

Sweet tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids and I decided we wanted to do a camping night in the field by our house and had to get a tent! The Coleman 4 person cabin tent with a screened porch was the best for us! It was simple to put together. The instructions are actually seen into the bag that the tent comes into so you will never lose it! Simple to lay out and place spikes and poles. Four poles all together. It took me and 20 minutes by myself the first time to put it together. I'm sure with more use I can cut that time down. Very spacey. We all fit perfectly with a little extra space. The tent has windows also which is amazing. Easy to unzip and zip back up. Has a rain cover also. Very easy to place on. I love the little screened porch. I was able to sit there and relax once the kids fell asleep. Very peaceful. And kept the bugs out! That's important in Florida! I highly recommend this tent and we will definitely be doing more camping in the future with this amazing tent!

Great size and easy to put together

I'm long overdue for this review, so here it goes.
My first experience with this tent was off to a rocky start, with the very back guy line of the rain fly tearing upon setup. It wasn't a difficult fix for me, just a quick patch and sew job and it hasn't torn since. When I emailed Coleman about the rainfly to see if there was any means of replacement, they more than compensated by sending me a whole new tent.
Now, I've had this tent for close to 3 years, and EVERY. SINGLE. EXCURSION. I have gone on, it has rained. Not just a light sprinkle, but full on downpours.
And every single time, this tent has not failed to keep me dry. Yes, there are seams on the tent prone to leaking during prolonged storms, but it's manageable if you have a towel handy. The waterproofing was the biggest reason we purchased this tent and so far it's delivered.
Setup and teardown is relatively simple, with color coded rods and sleeves, and can be done easily with two people. I have also set up and torn down this tent twice on my own with relative ease (and I'm 5'3).
This season, I finally applied a silicone weatheproofing spray for extra water resistance. Here's to many more excursions with this reliable tent.
