Great little tent cot! I slept comfortable over a long weekend hunting. Weather was hot and cold. Opening or closing the vent windows helped easily control the temp.  My only complaint is that condensation forms on the inside over night. It never dripped on me but if you touch the walls you will feel the dampness.

Best tent for primitive camping trip

Seems well made. Set up is rediculously fast and simple. Perfect for off road camping in the desert. Case fits my FJ Cruiser's roof rack perfectly.

great for 4x4 camping

I am a 56 year old female, 5'2", 160 lbs. and I love this thing! It keeps me off the ground. The openings are large. I can sit up in it and change, and when I lie down I have room at my feet for 2 large duffel bags. There are little hanging pockets for your phone and glasses. It's sturdy. It goes up in about 5 minutes and folds up equally as easy. It's a tad bit awkward and a bit heavy to carry but I sling the carrier strap over my shoulder and it makes it much easier. There were no problems with ordering or delivery. It came quickly.  I think it was a good purchase. I have no complaints!

A Perfect Tent for Me

Purchased this "Tent Cot" for a hunting trip. Found the best price/quick delivery option at Walmart. It arrived a full day early and the initial set up was quick and easy. Used the tent two days later and was very please and a little surprised at how comfortable it slept. It has just enough room and suits me perfect for solo camping trips.

I was very excited to see the tent cot available at such a great price. I camp quite often and getting tired of setting up a massive tent, when it's only me in it. I can say when I un-boxed the cot it set very quickly. upon inspection, I found several areas around the stitching poorly done, and missing window ties.
I can only hope it just a bad batch and not affecting your purchase.

ez set up-poor quality

I tried my first winter camping trip with my new Cot Tent. Cold, wind, light rain and light snow. I slept great and was very happy to be off the ground. Getting older and my back and kneees just don't do well. Several of my buddies were skeptical but after our trip all were open to giving it a try. If you have any thoughts of getting one, don't wait! Order now!

Good nights rest!

Was relieved when the box arrived that this was manufactured by Kamp-Rite. Could not tell from product listing online but all the evidence pointed to this. This unit is the over-sized tent cot made by Kamp-Rite. I have used it for one night of camping on a fishing trip and can offer these observations. Do open the unit at home and air it out for a few days outside. The smell of fire retardant is strong when new. I aired mine out for two days and sprayed some febreeze in it and had no issues sleeping in it on the trip. Tent is perfect for "car camping". Unit is not super heavy but is awkward to carry. If you plan to camp near your car, and want to get your sleeping quarters set up fast this is perfect. Sets up and breaks down fast. Once up, there is plenty of room inside. I am six feet tall and had a duffel bag at my feet and had plenty of room. Can sit up easily due to overhead suspension poles that dome the roof. It comes with a thin foam pad installed which is fine for one or two nights. For longer stays, you might want to supplement with an additional pad. Included but not advertised are a couple of sleeves with pockets inside overhead to hold small items out of the way (flashlight, watch, phone, etc.). For my purposes, this unit was perfect. I keep my gear in my car, not in my tent. I only use the tent to sleep and this is quick to set up, gets you off the ground, and is comfortable. Plenty of venting options with screens on all four sides. Did not have occasion to use the rain fly so can't evaluate that. My only concern is durability. The fabric is very thin. It may hold up OK but plan to be gentle with this to prevent damage. Overall, this unit afforded the best night of sleep I ever had on a camping trip. My buddies slept on the ground in a normal tent and looked tired! Wall-mart price beat the rest too.

Very well suited to purpose

The Tent Cot seems to be of superior construction, until you start putting it together...every thing went smoothly until the last steps and then I found that one of the tent poles was much longer than the other and would not allow completion of the assembly!!!
I sent an E-mail to the manufacturer but have received no answer yet...

Minor problem, big consequence

I didn't find any weight included with the ad. I would recommend this as a good thing for "car camping" only as I certainly wouldn't be able to put this over my shoulder and carry it very far.
