Love this shovel!

This is my second Ergi Snow shovel.  The pan lasts about 2 years, but last year was a really heavy winter.  Ergonomic with the front handle.  I hope they keep selling them.  Easy to put together.

Ergi Snow Shovel

I was surprised that it would come in a box actually, I had a giggle when it appeared on my door when delivered. I am glad it doesn't need big muscles to put all parts together because I was able to assemble it by myself. It is light and even my 2-year-old daughter could drag it around. This will really be handy in this ridiculous Minnesota Winter. I have only used it on an inch of snow that came this weekend but I could say it really reduce strain on my back unlike my other metal shovel. We usually have 12-20 inches of snow when it gets bad so having this shovel will help me a lot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This product is very easy to use and effective. I have used it to shovel leaves and can't wait til the snow gets here to try using it to shovel snow. It is very easy to install as well and it is all metal except for the handles and the scoop that are made from strong plastic. The edge is also metal. Ever effective easy to use

Easy assembly. Great price. I had a minor question. I called the manufacturer on a Sunday and they answered the call.

This is a good shovel for clearing snow on sidewalks and driveways. It wasn't great at breaking up the ice though. The actual scoop is a plastic that was a little flimsy, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. It was easy to assemble although the instructions were incorrect. It shows the second handle was part of the bottom piece, but it is actually the top piece. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Good Shovel for Clearing Snow on Sidewalks!

The shovel worked well but not as sturdy or strong like I would have liked it but for $13.00 I can't complain.

For the price a good product.

I had purchased several shovels last year.  They were very easy to assemble.  However, when I received this one, I was disappointed because the screws did not fit well and it was difficult to put together. It was also a different color and had a different name on it.  If you changed manufacturers I suggest you go back.

I don't receive item even passed due date then replace another item. So waiting. Thank you.

Not receive item

Am I seriously the only person who got a defective shovel?  Of course I waited until I needed it to put it together - or TRY to put it together.  The hole in the top of the black "scooper part" is SMALLER than the smallest metal (gray) part of the handle, so it is physically impossible to insert the gray metal handle (yes, I am using the narrow end) into the black scooper-part of the shovel.  You can kind of see in the photo - the metal part is supposed to slide inside the black circular part, then get screwed in tight.  However, for mine, the metal part cannot slide inside the black circular part.  So, I was outside fuming "shoveling" completely humped over just using the black part to try to get my driveway cleared with no handle whatsoever.  Needless to say it was the opposite of ergonomic.  I've been on hold with SnowJoe Customer Service for 18 minutes and counting...
