It features a strong heavy duty steel frame that is powder coated for rust resistance. The frame features a locking tension bar at the front of the chair for additional stability. The covering is a colorful, durable, and weather-resistant polyester fabric with a flow-through air nylon mesh back to help you stay cool. Resin stay-cool armrests add comfort and the color coordinated drink holder keeps your drink out of the sand. The seat height is just under 15 inches for additional comfort and easier in and out. It folds compactly into an included polyester carry bag with a shoulder strap, so it takes up no space at home or in your car. It weighs just over 8 pounds and very easy to take anywhere. We live about 2 1/2 hours from Dewey Beach DE so needless to say we go to the beach quite often and this chair suits all my needs. I love that it has a carrying bag so I can keep it in our trunk and set up is super easy and fast. The seat is made of high quality nylon that so far hasn't faded despite spending hours in the sun and I especially love that it sits up a bit higher than other beach chairs I've owned, making it much easier to maneuver myself out of it after hours of soaking up the rays. Definitely a great chair that will stand the test of time.

Perfect chair for all our beach trips

These chairs are strong and sturdy and very comfortable when you sit. They come in a large enough carry bag that you can easily fit back in. There is a side pouch for drinks or snacks. The simply pop up and pop down. Couldn't be asier. Very happy with these.

Great chairs, really comfy!

I love this! I got this for a trip we are taking in a few months to a friends beach house. With COVID we have not been able to do much, but a friend has a beach house and they are leaving their place for a vacation elsewhere. They get a free house sitter and we get a free beach house! This chair is fabulous. It is light, and easy to carry with the included storage and carry bag. Also, it really is pretty easy to get in and out of the carry bag which I had questioned because of the hard arms. Having the solid arms adds to the comfort of sitting in it. It feels much more solid then some beach chairs that always feel as tho you are about to tip over. It does have a drink holder, not in the arm but a small mesh bag that is sewn in to the seat on the right side of the chair. The drink holder is easy to reach and once you open it up (from the wadded I mess it is when you stuff the chair into the bag for storage) it is quite easy to put a drink in and take it out. The colors are great with this chair and the fabric seems durable and the chair is well sewn. Overall, this is a great addition to your beach gear and well worth the price. Oh, and my cat loved it, as you can see in the photo!

Great chair!

Perfect for camping or an outing at the lake or the beach. Feels super confortable to sit on, in fact I was surprised at how comfortable this chair is. I bought this in blue beach color and it looks perfect. Easy to fold and unfold and comes with a carry bag. Has a cup holder on the side which can fit a beer can, a mug or a tumbler. I have tried camping chairs by other brands, I found that the back of this chair is more reclined than other chairs which makes it more comfortable. Has a pretty wide and long seat. I highly recommend this chair.

Sturdy and Comfortable

This chair is very sturdy. It is kind of low, (of course because it is a beach chair)and 
standard size. The back is mesh for good air flow (no sweating). I like the hard plasic arms too.. There is also a nice size beverage holder on the side, and a storage bag with a carry handleI it was easy-to-use. Pop up, and fold away.

Love it

I love that my toddler and I can sit comfortably on this chair. We have been using this chair everyday since we got it. My baby boy claimed it for himself. He mostly use it when we're in the garden or by the pool. It is quite sterdy and easy to fold which makes putting it away a breeze. It is also not bulky and I am impressed by the limited space it takes up. I recommend buying 2 if you have a toddler because the kid is going to seize it lol

Perfect for my toddler and I

This folding chair is perfect for camping, outdoor events, or just lounging on the patio. It is sturdy, well-made, and attractive. Easy fold out an fold up. The colors are attractive, and the frame is a clean white paint, which should minimize any possible rusting. It has a pocket on the side, for drinks or gear. The back is mesh, which helps you keep cool. With a sturdy fabric, it easily holds my 200+ lbs. As with most folding chairs, it sits low, but the hard arms provide comfort and support getting on and off of the seat--no wobble. The bag is nice, with an adjustable slide closure. We took it to the local lake this weekend, and it performed perfectly. Others asked where I got it, as they also want one. I have owned a few folding chairs in the past, and this one ranks with the best.

TAKE A SEAT!

I use this chair at my son's soccer games. It's bright blue with aqua trim and white arms/frame. Also comes with a carry bag with shoulder strap for easy transport. I like the sturdy plastic white arms and the mesh back area. It does sit lower than average camping chairs. This will be great at the beach sitting with feet in the water. The cup holder located below the front right arm is a nice feature but the 22 oz. styrofoam cup I had in it did not sit level. I believe a shorter, less tall cup or drink would sit level with gravity. The white frame is sturdy and the chair is comfortable for my 5'5” frame and shorter legs. I don't know what the weight rating is. I'm not sure if it would hold a 300 lb. linebacker-type body but the chair would definitely not fit them width-wise. Not a beach or camping chair for those with long legs or larger frame due to the chair sitting lower to the ground. I had a little trouble collapsing the chair. It does not “fold” like traditional camping chairs with the typical fabric covered arms. It has a release button on the front bottom of the white frame. When I figured it out, the chair folded easily to place back in the carry bag. Nice chair for me. I'll be using this one often.

Quality, comfortable, sturdy chair

Received this chair on Sept. 28, 2020. The chair comes in a nice bag with carrying strap plus a strap to hang on a hook. Taking the chair out of the bag was easy and it unfolds very easily also. It is a sturdy chair with an open vent type in the back. The arms are a heavy plastic and it has a small little bag on the chair to put items in. There are no cup holders in the arms. This chair is a beach type chair which to me means a sand chair. This chair sits low to the ground. It also has a clilp on the forward brace to snap into place to keep the chair from folding up.

Would recommend chair to anyone who likes to go to the beach. I would prefer to sit up higher in the chair because it is hard to get out of a chair so low to the ground. All in all chair is sturdy and comfortable. Seems to be build very nicely.

Very nice sand type chair

I love EVERYTHING about this chair EXCEPT the fact that I could not figure out for the life of me how to fold it up and there was no instruction sheet in the package. I finally found a number for Mainstays and within 24 hours of my contacting them, a very nice person called me back to tell me how to do it - you just kind of lift up the side of tab on the front bar of the chair to release the legs. My pictures show the lever in the closed and open positions. I saw the lever but there didn't seem to be any way to move or open it. Other than that, I was extremely and pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort of this chair. It is really sturdy, it looks pretty cool, and it opens up so smoothly and easily. The colors (vivid blue and white) are clean looking, not the typical dull grayish blue you see in too many beach chairs. I can't believe how comfortable the back and seat are - looking at the chair you wouldn't think it would be so supportive but it feels like what I would expect in a much more expensive and thicker chair, and the breathing vent on the back is another intelligent feature. The arms are great, very solid and not wobbly at all, and there's a hanging pocket for a bottle or drink. I got the chair especially for the carrying sling that makes it so easy to tote around. All the features seem really well thought out. It's a great value and I hope it lasts - seems like it will. All I would change is to include a little diagram showing how to manipulate the lever that allows you to fold up the chair.
