These bulbs are lovely. I had to go online to learn how to use them correctly. They should be placed in the soil after watering the plant completely. Only then will the water seep slowly into the soil as needed. The packaging was excellent, and each bulb arrived intact.

Very pretty, packaged very well

I bought these because I was going away for a month and hoped they would keep my plant (a 15 year old Peace Lily which was a gift to me when my father passed away in 2006) alive until I got back.  The plant had been struggling since I split and replanted it about a year ago, so I wasn't really hopeful.  Before I left, I put all 4 into the 12 inch pot and when I came home a month later, it was a little dry, but still alive!  Since being home, I have kept two of the watering globes in the plant consistently and my struggling 15 year old plant, that is so important to me, is thriving and a year after the splitting, finally has its first bloom.  I recommend these highly and will be buying a second set for my outdoor summer deck plants.

This Saved My Plant

I am notorious for killing plants. I either overwater them or don’t water them enough. I also travel frequently and then it’s over for my plants. Got these in attempt to save my leftover plants and so far, they seem great! No plant has died yet and that’s good enough.

Very cute and get the job done

My family lives in eastern Tennessee.  Now that I am retired I can visit when I want & for how long I want.  I visited with them for up to 3 weeks at a time.  Using the Wyndham Watering Globe System has kept my plants looking like I left them.  I have been using 2 if the 3 pack globes for at least 6 months.  The globes I use are 12 inches long with a 3 inches globe.  They work great.  I now have more house plants; so, I needed more globes.  This time I purchased the 4 globes plackage.  No regrets.

Does a great for watering my house plants while I am away.

These are a life-saver for someone like myself with many plants. I LOVE self-watering apparatuses 🙌🏽

Most importantly, these were instrumental in helping me combat a gnat issue this past summer. One of my outdoor plants became infested with gnats. To prevent the spread, I had to cover the topsoil (of that plant and all of the nearby ones) in rocks. Due to the rocks, it was difficult to know when the plants needed water. Even worse, my poor moisture stick was struggling to get through the rocks and I was scared I was going to break it one day. Cue the watering globes to the rescue!!! *imagine superhero music right here*.

I didn’t have to worry about checking the soil at all thanks to these. I just watch the water level in the globe and refill when it’s been empty for an appropriate period of time (depending on the plant). It was also easy to squirt fertilizer into the globe periodically to feed my plants.

The only hang up is that sometimes dirt can get in the tip. It didn’t seem to stop the water from flowing, but it does make refilling the globe difficult. There’s an easy fix though. I just push the dirt in (with a pen, toothpick, my finger, whatever I have handy!). Then I add a small amount of water, swish it around, and flip the globe upside down to drain. I give a couple firm shakes while it’s draining and the dirt comes right out. Problem solved.

Beautiful self-watering globes

These helped keep my plants alive while I was away on a 2 week vacation. Great product, does exactly what they say.

Some of the other reviews mention that these had issues with water not exiting the glass tube. This did not happen in my experience and the diameter of the tube was totally ok for all 4. Just make sure that the end of the tube doesnt get fully crammed with dirt when you push it into the soil (make a pilot hole).

Quality. No issues with water not flowing through the tubes

I love the look of the product but the dirt constantly gets stuck in the end u put in the plant and i have to constantly take it out to unclog it and two of them the tips broke while trying to get the soil out of it

Pretty but not practical

One arrived broken / cracked near where the bulb meets the stem. Wasn’t worth returning everything but surely disappointed to find out one was broken (you can feel the crack of the glass) despite all the plastic foam surrounding it. However if dirt gets stuck in these products, it is more likely to come out than other products (bird glass ones)

I bought these unique watering system for my indoor plants. We took a two week vacation and I bought these to water our plants in our absence.  I don't think they are ment for that length of time. They are pretty but the usefulness is probably limited to one week.

Pretty Globes

I love the idea of these and 2 of them work fine. The others two are two wide at the bottom and the water just flows out. There a little tricky to fill but worth it if they are made right.
