I used 4 times to clear carpeted porch, driveway, public sidewalks.   Highly recommend as 70 year old female.  Cleared 60 feet of sidewalk in 10 minutes.  It's very powerful, and throws to either side very well.  Very light weight to handle, and little space required for storage.     Buy one BEFORE you, or your husband, hurt yourself shoveling.

Great snow solution!

I'm getting older do not need to be shoveling snow by hand. No significant snow this year to test it? Well built powerful enough and directional discharge with a reasonable price. It will cute my needs. If you just want to clean the snow off from your home to driveway or driveway or to sidewalk up to 6 or 8 incees this is a back saver. If you do not need the expense and maintenance and storage of a snowblower. This is an excellent alternative.

Great Alternative to shoveling snow by hand

Just used this nifty power shovel to clear 3 inches of wet snow (29 degrees) off a 14x14 deck. Worked quickly with no issues. Threw the snow 15 ft easily and no back ache! Even did the grass area under the birdfeeders. You can adjust the louvers a little but isn't like a snowblowers directable chute. with the wheels use it like a vacuum. Got a 12/3 extension cord for cold weather that stays flexible. Do your research...many claim this but dont. Stands up in a 6" tote in mudroom when done. 59 yr old woman easily put it together in 15 minutes. Read tons of reviews elsewhere and this one seemed the best bet. Happy with my choice!

does the job!

It's just the right size for a step or sidewalk, it's light weight and the wheels make it easy to move instead of hauling it by hand. What I was looking for was a small unit with wheels and the fins to direct the snow instead of pushing it straight ahead, I could not find any for about 2 months and then the add came up with this one and I jumped on it and it was here in 5 days from California. 3 days sooner. I did not use it yet but I'm sure I will soon.

Thrower or Blower? You decide?

Exactly what I was hoping it would do. I wanted something better than a shovel but where I didn't need to take my snowblower out.  The snowstorm we just got hit with was almost 2 feet of snow so couldn't use it the whole time but worked great for the time I could use it.

We have a plow for our driveway but I do use it on my deck and in front of the mailbox since it's easy to handle.

I like it

Doesn't work real great in hard snow.....the extention cord needed cost almost as much as the unit.....you need 12 amp......now for putting it together....the instructions were written by a drafter..... mostly poorly illustrated..... every screw you put in requires a Philip screwdriver.....that has to fight to be used because..some part of the snowblower is in your way to keep you from putting the stupid screw in straight.....what should have taken me one hour to put together took me 2 ........ get a cord real for that extention cord it will be a hundred foot mess you can't lift.....

A REAL PAIN TO PUT TOGETHER.....

If you ordered this as a Christmas present it will not arrive discretely. It was for my husband and he saw it delivered in its original packaging so no surprise to open on Christmas.

Don't order this as a surprise gift

This is a piece of crap, tried to return it, the wouldn't take it back

Dislike-handle is short and does not extend, uses to much electricity and does not have enough torque for shoveling snow.

It needs more power and be extended
