Leaks

I have tried many different styles of the quick connect for my garden hoses. These are the most efficient ones I have ever bought. I had bought them previously and needed additional ones. I would never buy a different brand now that I know the difference. I have arthritis really bad in my hands and these are so much easier for me to connect.

Quick are just that, quick and easy.  I am 71 years old and my hands don't work real well anymore, these make it easier and faster to change hoses to different flower beds and my vegetable garden.

have been using plastic quick connect for years.  should have gone with the brass from the beginning. works better, don't have to worry about breakage.

Ok i got the quick connects today and right away found a problem. The male part when it is pushed into the female or receiving part the male part hits the rubber washer and will not go deep enough for the ball bearings to lock into the groove that is cut into the male piece. The company that built these tried to fix this by cutting a recess into one side of the rubber washer and if this were a precision part it might work. I am thinking about cutting a small taper on one of the male parts to see if that helps. I know i can't take much or it will leak. If the company has any ideas i am open to suggestions. I found a problem right away

I bought them because they were a good price for 4.  I don't know if I got the right ones or not because there was no packaging indicating the manufacturer, just a bag that had a screwdriver sticker on it.   Unfortunately they are lower quality than the ones sold in the store and leak.  All 4 of them leak. On top of that  they are hard to insert and remove once screwed into place. You have to really push it in hard, in order for the release to lock it in place.  When not screwed on the lock/release works very smoothly. These are a waste of money don't bother.

Don't waste your money on this brand. One of four are improperly threaded, two have started to leak. Won't lock properly. Not complete junk, but close to it.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! They work until you actually attach them to a garden hose... if the 2 parts are together when you attach them to the hoses, they stay together, no coming apart. If you attach them as separate pieces there is no amount of force that will make them connect. And yes, I tried backing the threads off a bit and to get them to work it sprays from EVERY threaded area!
