Was very impressed with the Worx portable, battery powered sander. Comes with three adapters and proved extremely useful on a recent paint job on a large utility shed and was in poor shape and needed to be sanded down.  Was up on an extension ladder, but able to easily scrape and prepare the surface for painting.

Great Portable Sander

This sanding system was purchased to prepare an old oak dining table and chairs for refinishing!  To say that the 5-in-1 attachments made the job easier is an understatement!  The unit is sized well, doesn't vibrate too much and is very quiet!  I'm glad that I have four power-share batteries, as I can continue to sand without much fatigue until the 4th battery has to go onto the charger! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

THE best portable sander I've ever used

This sander is more powerful than I expected, good battery life.  I've sanded doors, automobile fender, restored vintage wheel barrow using the various attachments.  I like its ability to easily change sander types and base-plates.  I have 5 separate Worx tools, sander, cordless string trimmer, cordless impact wrench, Pegasus work table and saw horses, all work as advertised, all have been rugged.  Powershare batteries a big plus.

Better than anticipated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sander has several attachments and plenty of sandpaper.  I purchased when I painted a room and need to do some prep work.  It made sanding much easier and I am so glad I bought this.

Good little sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm everything Worx, from drills to string trimmer. My recent purchase is the WX820 sander. I don't like one purpose tools so with the multi attachments, this sander does it all.  Re-finished my coffee and end table. Now working on my bedroom furniture and then onto my enclosed fire pit.

All in one sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the various sanding plates, the sander is very versatile and the changing system makes it a snap to adapt it to different situations.

Very versatile and easy to change over

Great idea to have interchangeable sanding pads available on a single sander. Works as advertised keep in mind that the low speed setting can cause the tool to overheat since the motor cooling fan is blowing at a lower speed. They recommend running it on high speed for a while if the tool starts to feel warm. 
My complaint is with the users guide which contains the standard lawyers disclaimers and drawings of the tool but no text information at all on how to use the hyperlock handle to release the pads. By trial and error I figured out that it takes roughly five complete revolution of the handle while holding the handle firmly down to release the pad. You must feel resistance when you first start turning the handle - (The handle essentially unscrews the pad from the tool body.)  Nowhere in the users guide does it state that so I think Worx may be receiving a number of calls from people who bought the tool thinking they have a bad one while really the problem is their poor documentation.)

Good tool - poor documentation

The Sandeck 5-in-one multisander is very versatile.  I like the fact that it comes with three interchangeable sanding heads - circular, square, and triangular for more intricate work.  Sandpaper for each head was also included.  It has a small dust bag, as well as an attachment for a shop vac, to keep the dust down.  It's very easy to change the heads, once you realize that you have to unscrew them with the lever on top of the handle.  The picture instructions weren't that clear.  However, a visit to YouTube cleared that up.  The sander worked well with both my 1.5 amp battery and the 2 amp battery, although it seemed to have a bit more power with the 2 amp, which makes sense.  Overall, I'm happy with this sander.

I haven't had to use it yet, but since Worx keeps asking me to leave a review,  I can tell you if it's like all the Worx products [12] I own, I am sure it's a winner.
