Great design, light up knobs may seem like a novelty but they are actually quite convenient knowing which burners are on with a quick glance. Grill heats up quite quickly, got it up to 600 degrees in no time.

Feature laden built-in grill

This grill is awesome. So loving it and that infrared burner.

I bought this grill to replace a previous built in grill.  The best thing about this grill is that it does not flare up like my old one did and it is easier to control the heat.  The only negative is that when the wind is blowing 20 mph + the burners when on lower settings will blow out. Adding an adjustable baffle to the air intake area would greatly improve this from happening.  To help keep this from happening I made an attachable cover for the opening.

Overall a good grill.

The grill itself is absolutely fantastic.  The ability to add a side burner and have it connected to the same lighting scheme is horrendous.  First off, there is no complementary side burner to go along with the Prestige series, so I had to get the 700 series burner, only to find that I needed to purchase a separate power adaptor so the knobs light up (which I did).  Upon connection of the new power adaptor, the lights on the side burner do not light up...  Why would you make parts that are designed to be complementary from an aesthetic lighting standpoint, but offer no way to connect them?

Frustrating small issue

Beautiful grill but not without issues. The original one I received and installed had a weld issue in the body and that magnified the inconsistent heat problems I was having. Napoleon stood behind it and sent a replacement grill box with new burners, etc. but I had to transplant quite a few parts over to it from the original and reinstall. The newly re-installed grill head is much better than the first but still has cold / hot spots I would not expect in a higher end grill like this. The front horizontal 1/3 is cold, middle of the grill is right on temp-wise and the back 1/3 is super hot. 25 - 35 degrees diff in ambient temps between the front 1/3 and back 1/3 of grill so constantly have to rotate items from the front to back to get them cooked and back to front to keep from burning. Burners are level left-right and front-back, gas flow is good, etc. but the back edge of the burners still have a noticeably higher flame than the front third.

Hot & cold spots

So i was warming up the grill. # burners on medium. The things starts shooting flames out of the front where the knobs are located. It was a busted line from the first burner. I was preparing the meat for the grill and looked outside at my patio thinking to myself, "Is that a flame in the window? Holy S**t it is!" I run out and try to turn the knob but it wis in the middle of melting. So I get under the grill and turn off the natural gas at the valve. Could have caught the house on fire. Terrible quality. Had it professionally installed and cleaned it regularly. Now I've contacted Napoleon support and they need the serial #. Well the Serial # is missing characters on the sticker as it has been starched off. I cant get any support without it. I did not keep the manual so that would be my second source for a serial #. So it looks like I'm out of luck. Absolute waste of money. Buyer beware! You might have a similar issue and I will never buy another Napoleon product again.
