Some are missing the point here. This is a great addition to your feeders, yet not in the way it is intended. If you place these under your feeders, these will catch the seeds birds drop and help you control the squirrel and mice invasion that is sure to come. Finches especially like to flick out 4-5 seeds for everyone they eat. These trays can help keep some seeds off the ground.

Use these under feeders to stop seeds from ground

It was great.   Has a mesh bottom to let the feeder drain.

The quaity control during manufacturing of the Audubon 3 In 1 Platform Feeder is horrible, especially considering the premium price that's charged for them.

I found gouges in the wood frame, a screw (too small) was stripped allowing a metal leg to dangle, and the hanging wires were all twisted up, which requires bending the hanging hook to release and straighten them.

I'm also not entirely certain that the wood is weather resistant white "cedar" (no smell), and it appears to be white pine or another similar softwood, where I would have expected to see red cedar used for a bird feeder due to it's superior weather resistant properties.

Poor Quality Control and Materials

This feeder works well on my patio. The ground feeding birds love it. I get many doves, cardinals, juncos and chickadees. It is well made. The only problem with it is that the legs are funny looking metal bars. Not the nice matching wood legs like in the picture.
