The Suncast hose reel is just exactly what we needed. We ordered 3 of them. We use one for a 75 ft. hose and the other 2 for 50ft. hoses. It will likely hold. a 100ft. hose if you wind it carefully, however is more ideally suited for a 50 or 75ft hose.

The box holds more hose than you'd think possible, but it is a horror show to wind up, and the foothold, to stop it moving, is next to useless for anyone with ... feet. It's incredibly small, so that only the toe of my shoe fits in, and I don't have big feet.

Clearly the weak point for this product is the plastic/resin hose connectors, particularly the one mounted on the reel.  I expect the hose connector on the reel to fail in short order.  If you don't stake this unit down, it will wander as you wind up your hose - even with your foot firmly planted in the step on the front of the product.  The connector on the side of the unit as well as the one on the reel leak a little, but I expected this.  Under no circumstances should a buyer spend more than $40 on this product.  Any amount more would be a waste.

Functional, But Questionable Quality

Not as heavy, sturdy, well-made, etc. as previous ones I've had and twice the cost.
