Recently I changed a facet of my kitchen sink. It did not look good with the older and worn-out soap dispenser so I decided to uninstall that dispenser. As the result, a hole in the sink was left. This is where this sink hole cover came in so nicely. Its brushed nickel finish matched my sink. Its stylish finish complimented my existing fixtures. Installation of the cover was simple and quick. No tools were required for installation. This sink hole plug features a three-inch threaded shank design and flange cover. However, silicone caulk is needed during installation to create a watertight seal. I wish it could be supplied with the sink cover but it was not to buy the caulk separately. I am glad that the durable plastic construction is resistant to rust and provides long-lasting performance. With this sink cover now I can use my new faucet with no problem and no fear that water will go under the sink and will damage the wooden elements of the construction. I also noticed that the entire sink looks now better without the soap dispenser, with this cover and new faucet: they are in harmony and unity. Without this sink cover, I would not have such a wonderful setup: practical, functional, and beautiful.

Good to have it covered!

i had the hole in the top of my sink from the hand sprayer thing being removed when we got a new faucet and water kept splashing into it and under my sink every time i did the dishes. i didnt want mold under there so i got this and it fixed all my problems. the size was perfect and it comes with a nut that you put on the end to keep it in place. great item love it.

We changed our faucet to one that has a regular stream and a shower so our old sink hose became redundant. I removed the hose but then was stuck with an ugly hole. This product was perfect for us since it covered the hole where the hose used to be.

Installation was super easy: The hole cover has a threaded part that enters the hole, and then you attach a large washer and nut from underneath to secure it to the sink.

Overall, this is a very good product for those unsightly holes and I highly recommend it.

What a great hole cover

I received this DANCO Rust Resistant Sink Hole Cover, 1-3/4 Inch, Chrome, 1-Pack (89344) for my use and review. I got it and it took my partner only 5 minutes to remove the old spray faucet and install this hole cover. it looks very nice and it serves the purpose marvelously. I would recommend this product to my family and friendds.

Excellent sink hole cover

When we first changed out our sink several years ago, I selected a faucet that had a soap/lotion dispenser on it. I thought that would be so nice and, at first, I did like it. But as time went on it became a pain to refill and clean around. I was more than happy to get this Danco 1-3/4 inch Sink Hole Cover in Chrome to replace it. It was a cinch to install. I just needed someone to hold the top while I got under the sink and screwed on the nut. I think it looks fine and will be so much cleaner. I can actually get a sponge behind it easily. Like everything these days, it's not the highest quality. It is completely plastic but you can't tell it's not actually metallic. Given its inactive purpose it will do the job nicely. Bonus: It won't rust!

Super Easy Replacement!

This is a good device for covering the hole, that is often left in the sink, where an old style faucet came out. You might be upgrading or perhaps moved to a home where a faucet has no sprayer – yet the sink has a hole for one. This Danco sink hole cover, was a perfect match to my existing faucet and my stainless steel sink. Although it is made of plastic, it looks as if it will hold up. We installed it easily and it fits tight. The design of the piece allows for it to adjust to different sized sink thickness. Once installed it looks like smooth chrome, and I love how it is in there to stay. I have previously had those caps that are supposed to fit tight but never do, and they popped out all the time. This one was a replacement for one of those styles. I got to say I am loving it. I will need to be sure and not use any abrasive cleaners, or I might take the finish off. I would recommend it and they do have other styles so perhaps if your sink faucet were bronze or another color you can match to your décor choice.

Danco Rust Resistant Sink Hole Cover

This Danco sink hole cover is a classy replacement for any 1 ¾ size hole in the sink. I needed to remove a soap dispenser that was in a sink that I was replacing. To do so meant that there would be a hole left in the deepener's place. We left the soap pump installed for some time as we had nothing to put in its place. This Danco Cover was installed so perfectly easily and covered the hole so well. It appears as though it was made into the sink. The cover is flat with tapered edges and you never even notice it's there. It actually made more room and versatility for us. It's so easy to install too. It's like putting a cap on a bottle. I wished that I had encountered this cover before now.

Perfect Sink Hole Cover

Perfect solution

This Danco sink hole cover works as described in the description of the product. I used this sink hole cover on my kitchen sink to cover up the hole to where I had a sprayer. I no longer needed the sprayer once I changed out my kitchen faucets and the new faucet had a pull down sprayer built into the new kitchen faucet that I had chosen to replace my older faucet with. It was simple to do and instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. All in all I've been very pleased with this product and happy with the way my “old kitchen sink” looks “brand new” again!!

Worked as described

Super easy to install this on your sink. You just put the sink hole cover in the sink hole and attach the washer and screw the bolt-on. The chrome finish looks nice. This is rust-proof and fits tightly against the sink. I have had no issues with it leaking are and the sink hole.

Easy to install!

After i screwed this in my drain, i realized that it doesn't connect to anything to open or close it. I don't like that i have to unscrew and screw back and forth. Call me lazy, but this was useless for me. I do not recommend this unless you have a drain you want to keep closed for a long time.
