TAKE THE SCREWS OUT OF TOP AND BOTTOM OF PANELS AND SLIDE OUT PANELS, PUT THE SCREWS BACK.

Take out the screws out of the top and bottom of panels to reduce to 40" and slide panels or panels out, then put the screws back on top and bottom.

You will need to take the screws out to take the desired length of panels out.

Purchased the 48" width, how do I reduce to 40"?

I used a hand saw with fine teeth. Really easy to trim.

We wrapped masking tape around the unit in several place, got the correct measurement and cut with a chop saw. The cut was perfect.

Max width is 48", what is min width? What is best way to trim height from 96" to 80"?

This was a great and inexpensive product to divide a storage space in my basement without losing ceiling height. It was easy to install and works like a charm. Most importantly, it looks great!

Perfect for my high ceilings!

Used the doors as a room divider and they look good. Easy to install. Had to cut the length, my
husband used his miter saw with a fine tooth blade, taped both sides of the cut and the cuts came out smooth. Over all the doors should last.

It was very easy to assembly this door. I bought two because of very wide opening, it fit perfectly, and the price was right-cheaper than same size accordion door in Home Depot-very good value.

The only type of door that would work was an accordion style but couldn't find one tall enough locally, this was perfect. We did have to cut 2 inches off -- make sure you have your measurements right the first time because it is a bit tedious. It is an awkward shipping shape and the box was pretty damaged when it arrived but only a small ding on the bottom of one slat. It works very well but the handle is a bit high and I have no idea about durability yet, so far so good but it has only been a week. Pretty good looking.

Just what was needed

Received broken in several places. Not very tough product if it is going to be used a lot I would buy a better one. Spent hours taking apart to put all the broken ends to the end that needed to cut off. Notified Walmart and they wanted to return $20.00. Not a bad door and wasn't to difficult to install after all the repairs and cutting were done.

Don't have it delivered.

I thought I'm going to get a much better quality then actually it is looks very cheap and it looks like it's going to fall apart

Not good instructions said would fit 80.5 to 96" opening without cutting and I don't see how that could be possible
