Received item in 3 separate shipments. Yes that is correct. When you order this TV Stand Online, it comes in 3 different shipments. Why that it is, I do not know.

This TV Stand/Electric Fireplace requires 2 adults to assemble. This is per the instruction booklet that comes with.

In the box

22 boards
tons of screws, nails, caps, etc. Make sure when putting this together, little kids are in bed or busy playing. You don't want them getting a hold of anything, and accidentally swallowing things. 

Make sure you have patience hats on. If you are doing this assembly with your spouse or loved one, things may get outta control. LOL.

I cant stress this part enough, make sure you follow the step by step assembly in the instruction booklet. IF for some odd reason, you do not have one with, Ameriwoods website does have online copies.

This TV Stand Electric Fireplace holds up to a 65" Television. So that's pretty big. We have a 55" and its perfect size for the tv stand.

The 18” fireplace insert plugs into a standard 120V outlet and can heat a room up to 400 sq. ft. The insert can be used with or without heat so you can still enjoy the flame effect in any of the seasons, other than winter.

Top divided open shelf is great for keeping your cable box or Blu-Ray player and the 2 side cabinets have 2 additional shelves behind glass doors for books and DVDs, pictures, gaming consoles and more.

Ameriwood Home warrants this product to be free from defects and agrees to remedy any such defect. This warranty covers one year from the date of original purchased. So that's good. Anything goes wrong with it, in a year, contact them, and they can send replacement parts.

Lastly, clean and care of the unit. Dust and wipe with a dry cloth and if needed, a damp cloth may be used sparingly. So what I did find out too, is you MAY use furniture polish on this, but don't over soak it.

This is a great staple piece in our house. My Wife and I, have wanted one of these for a longtime now, so we can enjoy a nice fire in our home, without having a real one.

A great fire place stand!!

It came in 3 separate boxes, 2 containing hardware and the “wood”, and a third containing the fire place insert. The two boxes containing the wood weighed a ton, so try to have some muscle power available on the delivery day. The boxes were tightly packaged, and shipped well. Note for my fellow NYCers, the boxes are packed styrofoam - given regulations around disposing of styrofoam in NYC, this was a bit of a con for me. It took me about 2 hours to put this together on my own, and it was ‘t terribly difficult. The instructions were very clear! There are 2 switches on the fireplace, one provides the illusion of flames and the other actually provides heat. You can switch the both on together or individually. All in all the fireplace looks AMAZING in our living space! It looks expensive and fancy - WINNING! SN: for context, our tv is a 55”.

This makes my second Ameriwood TV stand. Ameriwood always has good quality items. The wood is beautiful, and looks expensive. My favorite part is the fireplace. It's absolutely stunning, and warms a room within a few minutes. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a tv stand with a fireplace. The TV stand is large enough for any TV.

Love it

I really liked the outcome after putting this together but the only problem we had was when we lifted it to place where we wanted..the wood inside where the doors are came apart (on both sides!) My hubby had to buy screws to screw the doors in because the way the wood was put on there was very cheaply done (they were stapled in) but other than THAT problem I really love it!

Just a few problems

Setup was pretty easy though time consuming, had a small issue getting one side to line up, but got there eventually.  It's a solid heavy piece and details are very pretty.  We love that the fireplace has an option for heat, our dogs love to lay by the fire, only wish it had a remote with it!

Great value for price

This is a beautiful tv stand, but it's simply particle board. As you can see in one of the pictures the particle board started to crack when I put a screw in. Thankfully this was the interior of the stand. Also, one of the doors have a dime size chip. Buy at your own risk! I'm a handy woman and was able to put this together in 2.5 hours. It's a very heavy piece. Did arrive 1 week after I ordered it in 2 separate shipments.

Beautiful tv stand!

This fireplace/tv stand is GORGEOUS. Now that it is together that is. I love the simplicity of the fire place, two easy buttons and my fiancee loves that I can have the fire place without having to have the heat. I have always wanted one of these! I love that you can take the fireplace out and just have a shelf, though i wish the instructions told you the first set of building instructions for the middle area is for without a fireplace. It took over 3 hours to put together and there were a few hiccups along the way(piece came apart and need wood glue to put it back together). However, once it was together I was in love with it! Nice and sturdy once together! I look forward to many years enjoying thos tv stand.

Just beautiful

The tv stand/fireplace looks great once together. It seems to be decent quality. Shipping was quick, came in 2 boxes because of weight. The fireplace feature puts out a good amount of heat. The unit was fairly easy to put together as long as you follow the steps in the directions. Plenty large enough to hold my 65" tv. I lowered it from 5 stars to 3 stars because of the following. One of the main pieces (the long center shelf above the fireplace in photo) was damaged on two corners. It was still usable and I decided to use it rather than go through the hassle of returning. In addition the base of the unit is put together at the manufacturer and it literally came apart halfway through assembly. The manufacturer uses cheap staples to secure both wood and plastic in the base. It took about an extra hour to reassemble the base using an electric staple gun, rebuilding what came apart and reinforcing all other connections in the base so it would not come apart again. This worked and the product is very sturdy and secure now. One more reason was a small (but noticeable) dent in the metal (upper left of fireplace in photo if you zoom in) around the fireplace itself.  My overall opinion is it works for my needs but I probably would not purchase again due to the defects I had to fix or live with. My advice to you if you purchase this item is before assembly flip the base upside down and reinforce with staple gun or finishing nails. Lastly, I can't tell you not to purchase because the finished product is really nice. Hope this review helps you make your decision.

Nice... but three stars for a reason:

This item looks nice but make sure you inspect it before putting together. After my husband assembled this entertainment center while moving it into the house a piece of the bottom fell off. It was just stapled together. While putting it together we noticed many pieces looked water damages and there are many scuffs on it. The glass holes are put together poorly with staples and fall off easily. Now I'm torn between taking it apart to return or just dealing. I would not buy again.
