Can this be left plugged into the wall? And on? This is long term?

I've purchased 3 of these and loved them. Perfect for your desk top and small areas. The bad part is it doesn't work long. I got them in Dec and the last one I got stopped working yesterday barely 4 months.

It came in broken
It heated up the drinks to coffee levels

Refurbished,yikes.Do not purchased this item.Mine was brand new and only lasted a little over a year before the motor stopped working and didn't cool the mini fridge any longer.Will never purchase this item again.Always pay attention to the duration of care plans offered for any item,after many years of making purchases I have found that they usually predict the life of the item.
