Excellent portable refrigerator and freezer. I bought one of these because the thermoelectric units only cool about 30 degrees below ambient. Looking at the power cunsumption, these really dont use much more than the thermoelectric coolers. I used those coolers and they take forever to get cold, this works wonderfully well. Ive jad temperatures maintained at 5 degrees to keep ice cream frozen. Used it as a fridge to keep pop ice cold. Excellent product that does just as it says. This is a plus if you do a lot of traveling and want to keep food and drinks cold and fresh. No more trying to hunt down vending machines for nice ice cold pop. Ive had mine in the back seat of my car, made a holder to keep the air vents open. Wonderful product.

We’ve intentionally waited a year of use before reviewing and only choose select items to even bothering to submit reviews on altogether. Purchased “on sale” through Amazon after some extensive reading and feedback of favored overlanding options that we and friends have used for both USA and NZ/Australia travels. A unanimous very impressed with both used as fridge or freezer option!! It’s been through literal polar extreme temps of sub freezing to summertime in hottest dry desert climates plus all in between temps that the southern and east coast humidity and hurricanes can do. It handled graded inclines effortlessly and just as advertised; works equally well “plugged in” and off grid too feeding from multiple types of solar panels and battery power stations. The carrying handles and the single latch has held up well after a year of DAILY use (with kids too). Sooo, unless you’re into throwing cash about, don’t waste your money going by the big names just because it’s trendy brands alone...We’d rather still have the funds to actually fill the fridge up with groceries!!

Waited a full year of USE before reviewing!

got this 44qt. frig/freezer a month ago on line @ Walmart.com Have only used it twice briefly, worked very well. Empty it cools down from room temp (75 deg) to 32 deg in less than 30 min. in eco mode, would be much faster in max mode. No doubt it would work well as a freezer also, but not both at the same time. We will be traveling in a few months, long distance, that will put it to the real test.

Very pleased with quality and performance

Bought this to use for camping, powering it with a Yeti 1000. Arrived in good condition, and seems to work well in my initial testing. Temperature actually seems pretty accurate, at least at the bottom of the chest. Note that the cold is just radiated from the sides (and bottom?) and there's no fan to circulate the air (I think all of these type of fridges work that way). So there can be a substantial difference between the sides/bottom and the middle, but over time it seems to even out. Might invest in a little fan to keep the air circulating.Overall, the build and quality seems good and everything works great. I suspect the Yeti 1000 can keep this running for several days. Mostly plastic, so I'm going to try and be careful and not beat it up too bad; especially the latches and hinges. We'll see how it holds up being transported and actually used ... hopefully will last for a while (will try to report back after a few trips). But so far this seems like a bargain at this price.

used this on a 5900 mile summer trip, It worked great until we got home. Only problems we had were the connections are not tight , the handle is a little flimsy as ours popped out without much force, and on high energy input it blew out our A/C output , Keep it on med or low when in the car,Other than those ,It kept our food and wine cold.

Well.......I bought this fridge for camping and I am running on 12 volt, I assumed the fridge would shut off before killing the battery (Ultma yellow top gel) it didn't. It ran approx. 24 hrs. before I checked it and the digital display said ERR. The battery was so dead the starter just clicked and had to get a jump. Works great on 120 volt, but that's not what I bought it for.

I plugged it in a couple days that works great how long and good it works it might deserve a five-star received in the future

At first i was please with this unit but then it stop cooling and the bottons stopped working only had it for 90 days would like to be able to talk to some one maybe it could be fixed or see what kind of warranty it has

Need help

I used for 5 months and it stopped cooling down the refrigerator or freezer side. very disappointed

Not durable

It was supposed to be delivered in two days and it took nine days. I had an ICECO Portable fridge but the door didntPortable fridge but the door didnt open the right way. So I decided to try this refrigerator freezer. Definitely not as good as quality as the ICECO.  To be fair I did get some compensation for the lateness of delivery.
