This is a good looking chair. We got it for an old desk that has a narrow leg opening in it and it fits perfectly. Be very careful when you put it together. The instructions are correct, but a bit confusing as to which length of bolt goes where.

The instructions for assembly are very easy. The chair is very nice looking, it fits in with the other office seating we purchased. The black leathersoft against the cherry stained legs looks beautiful. Very happy

The chairs are very narrow and not at all comfortable to sit in. They are cheap, in particular the light wood used for the legs which splinter and loosen requiring tightening once a week or so. These are an embarrassing addition to our dining room and we are always expressing shame and telling guests we're sorry they have to sit in them.
